best work trousers I've bought
These trousers are the best I've tried yet ...and I have tried just about every brand available including esab leather front welding trousers (as I am a welder ) they are useless !!! It seems only in america can work trousers be made to last . I've had these carhart trousers for about a month now without any rips burns or seem fails and that is a mirical as the last ten different pairs I've bought have struggled to survive a week . carhartt workwear forever for me now . ( I am 32 leg 34 waist ) the waist is a nice fit but 30 inch leg fits me ..plenty long enough ( they sit on my boot about the same as the guy in the picture ) I first bought 32 inch waist because everyone was saying on here that they would be massive , they were too tight . my experience is that the waist sizes are accurate but the legs are quite over length . I hope this might help if you thinking of buying .

Great for work
Well worth the money, great quality, fit well and have sufficient storage for work. They’re also made of tough canvas so they’re realistically not going to tear even from extreme use over a long period.

Loving these carhartts
Very good trousers i bought a 33w30l as that was all that was available and they fit perfect. My waist measures 91 cm and my inner leg from crotch to bottom of mi foot is 83cm. Im normally a 34w/31l in the uk. I previously bought carhartt double front utility pants straight fit, but there no good for me to skinny cant move in them. These are the mutts nutts not too baggy just right, maybe the legs are about an inch longer than they should be but I've read they will shrink up a bit, waist size is pretty accurate from my experience . What i don’t quite understand is the difference in price of different sizes, if i wanted to get a 34w it was £45 more, how does that work. Will be buying more when there available which seems to be a problem here in the uk at the mo. Would like a pair in the gravel colour, seen a picture but not available anywhere. Overall excellent purchase robust well built American quality.

carharrts
Have owned a pair of these before, awesome trousers. Super hard wearing will take years to wear out. A bit stiff to start out but they soften with time. Good fit, nicely cut loose without being overly baggy. Only thing to be aware of is they seem to have an unusually long leg. I had to change mine from a 32" leg to a 30" leg and I never wear a 30" leg so bear that in mind when you order. Can be used as a an ordinary day to day trouser or a work trouser, not cheap but they will out live any other trousers you own.

Pants shrunk after cold wash and air dry
The pant length may seem long but they shrink in length even after a cold wash. Size up in the waste by an inch or two The stitching for the most part is immaculate. I got a made in the USA pair which was a nice surprise

Sizing as others have mentioned is wrong, go up at least a size
As others have mentioned the sizing isn't right, a size up would have been fine but then the legs were already very loose. The material is great and you could probably crawl over gravel in them they're that thick, but stiff as anything and I dread to think how many wash/wear cycles they would need to feel comfortable for anything other than functional use that sacrifices casual comfort. Shame as they're excellent for pockets and look well made. Just no good if they're too small.
