My dogs new favorite hang out
I bought this for use at home so my big dog can have a her own space to chill and be comfortable. She hadn't had a crate in years so I didn't want to get her a wire one. She absolutely loves this. She used to sleep by my bed, now she usually goes to the crate at some point in the night. I've only traveled with it once. It was kinda hard trying to make it collapse the first time, but I got the hang of it and didn't have any other issues. I'm glad I found this for her.

Fantastic design!
My husband and I like to travel with our dogs. We often stay in rental homes. Almost all of the rental properties that allow dogs require them to be crated when unattended which is more than fair. I've always used collapsible wire crates, which is what my dogs are trained in as puppies. And my dogs are not bothered by crates at all. But when we rented a condo in Colorado that was on the third floor and there was no elevator, we became keenly aware of how cumbersome and heavy those wire crates really are! We breathlessly lugged those things up those stairs and I realized on that day, that something had to change.Enter: The soft folding crate. There are just about as many soft crate options out there as there are dogs to use them. I knew that I was looking for something that was relatively light weight AND folded down to the smallest package possible. This one caught my eye straight away.Since this company was having a "lightening sale" on these crates at the time, I was only allowed to order one in the gray that I wanted. But I found that I could order another crate, as long as it was a different color...so I went with black. That's fine with me. The price was fantastic!I have to say that this is one of the best designed collapsible items I've ever seen. It sets up in a snap, using no tools. It breaks down equally easily. It takes less than a minute to set up, and less than a minute to take down. But it's super sturdy once assembled. It's VERY impressive in that way.The designers thought of everything. The crate opens in the front and on two sides. The top also opens and I have found that the crate is most easily assembled from the top. Each panel that opens rolls up and secures open with Velcro tabs. The back of the crate is solid and has a pocket and an elastic strap there, and also a small hole to administer treats through if you are training a dog to get used to it. While my dogs have been crate trained since puppy-hood, I did use the little hole and treats to introduce them to this crate since it's different. I want them to be totally comfortable in there so when we travel, they won't be ambushed by something new, and left alone somewhere in a crate that frankly, they can get out of if they want to.OK, so lets talk about the elephant in the room. This is a SOFT CRATE. The zippered panels are mesh. Any dog who wishes to, can easily chew his way out of this crate...this one as well as any other soft crate. Soft crates are for trained adult dogs who are not anxious when left alone. I can't imagine putting a puppy in this crate, although some people doing that with success. But if you put a puppy or an anxious adult dog in this and are surprised that they ate their way out of it...shame on you. It's not the dog's fault...or the crate's fault. It is not appropriate for these kinds of animals. The crate comes with a nice pad that Velcros to the floor of the crate. I added an extra pad because my dogs are spoiled and like a cuhsy life. But it's not really required.I included a lot of pictures which hopefully are self explanatory and add good aid to this review. I can't attest to the general durability with normal use yet, but these crates seem to be very well made. Worth noting here is this: soft crates do not provide safety for the dog while traveling in the car other than just confinement. Hard-sided crates are safer for car travel. If your dogs are well trained and comfortable with being left alone...and if you travel and don't like to lug heavy crates around...this is a must buy!

This travel crate is flippin' fantastic!
High quality material and strong build. It took less than a few minutes to set up. The two sides, front and top can be unzipped, making this work in a variety of scenarios. I looked at many options online before buying and I couldn't be happier with my decision.I've read a few comments complaining that their dog chewed through the mesh sides. No, it's not metal nor is it rocket science people!

Great portable crate
Love the portability that comes with this crate and how easy it is to fold down. My dog loves to lay on top of it and take a nap. Great for traveling since it can be folded down and it’s not heavy and doesn’t take up much space

Great travel, and every day crate
This is a great dog crate. I now have two of slightly different sizes.. one of the crates I keep in the back of my car as one of my dogs get carsick and she does really well on the crate and the second I keep in the house for one of my newly adopted puppies. It is sturdy easy to put up and take down, and I love that it folds down really small for transportation. They are easy to clean, and I like that some of the walls are mesh to create a soft place for my dog to layer head against. My only negative would be that it can get hot inside as those solid walls are a plastic fabric tape material but Overall, I really like the crate and I would purchase again.

Easy the use but not for nutcase dogs
My dog is 55 lbs and this is a good size for her. Easy to assemble and very portable. It is a lot of mesh so if you have a dog that chews or is a nutcase this one is not for you. It's nice because I'm at my daughter's and she is not allowed on furniture here so I have it out for her to lounge in and she loves it

WOW! So easy to set up and fold away!
I LOVE this portable crate. I'm amazed at how easy it is to set up and fold up after use. I used this for a foster cat and then I used this to travel with my cats from Chicago to Dallas. It's so easy to set up and it immediately gives them a place to hide. Would highly, HIGHLY recommend!!
