Quality cat food
Small Batch is a top quality pet food, with minimal ingredients. I had been feeding my senior cat the Small Batch frozen raw food for many years, until she wouldn't eat it anymore. Unfortunately their freeze-dried raw food is not available locally, so I switched to Stella & Chewy freeze-dried raw, which is also good. Since I much prefer the Small Batch ingredients, including organic, I decided to try Amazon when I saw they carry it. My cat loves both. I also like this product because it is soft and easy to crumble. (Note: the beef product is supposedly harder than the poultry.) It's comparably priced with other quality raw pet food. Buyers should be aware of possible packaging issues. I have only ordered twice so far, so not sure if this is standard, but both of my orders of turkey food were shipped in soft-pack envelopes rather than a box - even when I ordered other item(s) to be delivered on the same time schedule. This resulted in crushed contents (including lots of crumbs), because they are softer than most non-poultry freeze-dried food. This is not a problem for me because I crumble it anyway so I can add water to make it "mushy" for my 17-year-old cat with teeth/gum and kidney challenges.

My cat loves it!
My cat really likes it. I try to buy freeze dried raw because it's better for them. Good quality food.

Great quality ingredients in a freeze-dried formula.
My cats adore this food! I like the freeze dried because it is much healthier than kibble. I really pay attention to the ingredients in my cats' food, as there are so many brands that do NOT contain healthy ingredients. I feel that this company is very attentive to using high quality ingredients that give your cats the nutrition they need. I give them 10 stars!

Picky Eater
My 7 month old ragdoll kitten has decided to be a picky eater but loves the Small Batch chicken recipe. It softens nicely with a bit of warm water added. He loves fish so I put some dried shrimp as a topper. I chose this brand because all ingredients are organic and non gmo. Humanely raised and harvested meat. I like that it's a small family-owned company.

Picky Cat Liked It
My sickly, picky cat likes it and I am sure part of the appeal is it strong scent when warm water is added. I found the chunks a bit bigger than expected and it does take several minutes to get warm water to get them moist. Happy to deal with the wait and the smell to make my baby happy.

Grain free is killing cats due to lack of taurine
We switched to grain free because it was supposed to be better for our cats. Well it turns out, the increased costs and vomiting were actually not worth it. After we lost one cat to heart failure and the second one was diagnosed with that a week later and the vets basically insisting it was because of the “specialized” foods and little to no taurine - grain free is NOT good. We think we are doing this big service for our babies, grain free, small batch, real food, etc. People check with your vets. They have the studies, but it’s not politically correct for them to publish. The grain free movement is killing cats for no reason.
