Fish love the pellets and the water stays clean
My fish love this food! And the best thing is that there isn't fall out mucking up the water. Regular flake food makes a mess, but not these pellets. Definitely recommend.

Great product at a Great Value
My husband uses these for his fish tank. Every time he feeds them his fish go nuts for them. They sink a little slowly so they linger in the tank longer. They're also small enough that some juvenile nanofish. Even his small bumblebee goby goes nuts for them and likes eating them. The fish's color has also been standing out a lot more since we started feeding it to them a couple months ago.

Fishy Favorite
My fish love these. I put a miniscule amount, probably a 16th or less of a tsp and a bit of flakes and that is working great for me in my 20 gallon tank. They work well in automatic feeders too.

Excellent
Excellent food. Fish love it and, since the gobble it up quickly, it doesn't hang around long enough to foul the water

Fish like this foodh
My fish loves this food. The particles are very small, and it suits them very well. My Rainbow fish is relatively large, 3-4” long, but their mouths are small, so it’s good for them, as well as for Neon Tetras. The only thing I wish to be different, is the particles to float a little longer. They sink too fast

A positive game changer in our fish-feeding and aquarium maintenance
Hikari’s Tropical Semi-Floating Micro Pellets have really changed how we feed our fish and maintain our aquarium, and for the better. The micro pellets float for about one minute, and some then sink slowly while a portion remains floating. They are perfectly sized for our fish, so we don’t have to be as ‘on-hand’ with micro pellets as flake food sometimes requires to pinch into smaller bits. Visibly, you can see the fish enjoy the slow release of the micro pellets. Feeding time is no longer a stressful, constant frenzy; the instant the flakes hit the surface, they begin to sink so rapidly. So we’ve noted how much more sensible Hikari Tropical Semi-Floating Micro Pellets are as the main source of our feeding routine. Interestingly enough, from the moment the pellets hit the surface, it takes roughly one minute for the first big release to begin descending downward. Take a look a the attached video clip. Overall, more feed ends up in the fish, and not sinking to the bottom, versus flake, which will reduce maintenance, and that's definitely a positive.

Great Sinking Micro Pellets — My Fish Love Them!
With six fish tanks in my home, I’m always rotating foods to give my fish the best nutrition possible for their health, color, and overall water quality. I’ve tried quite a few micro pellets, but many tend to float longer than I’d like. These sink much faster, which makes a big difference for mid- and bottom-feeding fish and helps reduce food lingering at the surface. I use these primarily in my 75-gallon tank with small fish and shrimp, and they go crazy for them. It’s easily become one of their favorite foods. The pellet size is perfect, feeding is clean, and I’ve been really happy with how well they’re accepted. Definitely a staple in my food rotation now.
