This machine is a breeze to use. The support team is amazing and patient. Training was perfect and there is lots of modes to learn: videos, reading, social media groups, and your own tech/training group. You can tell they all really want you to succeed. I would 10/10 recommend.

After embroidering for several years on a single needle machine finally made the jump to a multi needle machine. So glad I did!! The quality of the stitch out on the same designs surpassed my expectations! Highly recommend watching all of Smartstitch training videos on YouTube. The community and support you receive with the purchase is amazing! Set up was easy they give you step by step instructions. I found their system easy to navigate. Added bonus you receive 2 sets of hoops so you are able to prep while an item is stitching out.

SS Support group is great. Machine is fast. It is very heavy. You need to know that you can get it into your house. My neighbor had to use his fork lift to get it on my porch. You need strong people to lift it up on the stand. If you never used an embroidery machine it might be confusing for you. The delivery people never called to inform us it was coming. They just showed up and happy someone is always home. It came a week earlier. It handles many embroidery designs well.

Absolutely LOVE my SmartStitch machines! This 15 Needle machine is a fantastic addition to my Embroidery Small Business. I already have a SmartStitch S1201 and this is my 2nd machine purchased within a year. These machines stitch Quality designs, are affordable for a first-time machine, and come with fantastic support despite not being a local US company.

This was a a very carefully considered purchase! Spending £5k on Amazon somehow seems counterintuitive 😵‍💫. I had a number of contacts with SmartsStitch directly and watched countless hours of YouTube reviews and read a number of reviews. It's a big investment, and having spent over £2k on a single needle brother that really didn't do the job without continuous problems, we decided to buy the machine. Machine arrived Monday. It's huge, but I guess it is an industrial quality machine after all. Came in a crate on a pallet. Took. nit of searching on YouTube on the Smartstitch Channel to find the video to put together the Trolley base, but once you have found your machine the videos are clear. Once you have the machine, you need to undertake training. It's somewhere between Quality Control and familiarising you with the machine. Ayla from SmartStitch was great, patient and had an initial issue with the Shaft drive, but after an hour or so, this was resolved. Support is through a vast and ever increasing Facebook support group of experienced SmartStitch users and SmartStitch advisers/technicians. So far they are very responsive and the community is very supportive of new users. So to the machine. Yesterday we got fully up and running. Apart from a couple of broken threads (it happens if you're new to embroidery) this machine has performed flawlessly. Our first stitch run was 94,000 stitches (see the dragon photo). The stitch quality is fantastic compared to our brother Innov-IS V3. The S1501 purred its way through this. We then tried a Childs hoodie, the stitch quality is great. I tried my first Appliqué (see the green K with a glitter fill). Great stitch, flawless performance. The Brother would continually fail to pick up the bobbin, pull the bobbin thread through, miss stitches, bird nest etc. Only 3 months old and the support from the supplier and brother was constantly "User Error". Don't think we managed one medium-Large embroider without at least 2 or 3 issues (no good if you want to sell as a business). Smartstitch S1501 Ultra Beast, lives up to its name and not a single birds nest, missed stitch etc so far. We are fairly new to embroidery, learning fast and it can be very confusing, challenging and frustrating when machines don't perform. But this machine so far (I will leave an update in the coming weeks, months) has made the process more enjoyable. The brother machine was very difficult to hoop, especially bulky items like Hoodies/Tees and you had to watch it constantly. Considering some projects take 2hrs+ to fully stitch, this can be painful. The SmartStitch I am confident once running I can leave and if it needs my attention such as broken thread, bobbin refill, it will let me know. I hope this review helps. It's a very big purchase both financially and in physical size when it arrives. Still a little shocked we spent £5k on Amazon on 1 item lol 😂🧵😂🧵😂🧵
