Preheating is Key
I preheat out Stanley thermos for hot items with boiling water, let it sit, sealed, w/the hot water minimum 25 minutes or longer before emptying & filling with the piping hot food items. It keeps my son’s hot lunch hot for 4-6 hours. But PREHEATING the thermos with boiling hot water is key.

This keeps your soup extremely hot And holds two cans of soup. Definitely worth having.

Mouth not wide enough
Would have been five stars of it had a wide enough mouth to stick your hand into clean. At least it's wide enough to be decent in the dishwasher

Stays hot. Heat the vessel with hot water before pouring heated food to last longer. If Im up at 6am preparing, lunchtime rolls around 12pm and it’s just as hot. If I bring soup to a boil my husband says it’s too hot for him at lunch….So guess what IT WORKS!!! Stanley wins again! The top portion is an insulated screw on cup and under the cup is the screw on lid. It CAN hold 36oz nicely. Love the green, it’s a clean look. UPDATE: Its been almost a year coming this Feb. Here it is Jan. For the past 2 washes the seal ring keeps popping off. I shook off the water and it flew off. :(

Excelente termo, aguanta la comida caliente especialmente cuando uno lleva sopa hacia el Trabajo. Los burritos lo mantiene caliente nomás de seis horas pero lo recomiendo vale la pena aunque el precio es alto, pero vale la pena
