Excellent Product and Service
I've been riding my Pro Race seat post for a couple of weeks now and love it! It got the Pro Race for it's minimalist 20cc travel and that's plenty enough to soften the root bumps on a favorite path along the Boise River. It's installed on my Specialized Creo 2 SL e-bike. I pinched the rubber ring that secures the mud guard in the seat rail bolt and broke it. Their customer service very quickly started a shipment of a new ring and mud cover at no cost to me. Great products, great service!

Helps me to go faster and further on gnaly routes
I frequently ride my gravel bike on mixed terrain routes along the Andes with substantial amount of pretty gnaly surfaces, and felt like I needed a little more suspension on top of 2.1" front and 50mm rear tires to at least alleviate physical burden being caused by merciless vibration. Not a cheap investment, but so far it has convinced me this purchase was a great call. This thing works great especially when I am forced to stay seated on my saddle as I pedal hard uphill. One of my favorate route has single uphill segment that lasts more than 60km and 2000 meter elevation gain. Being able to stay more on my saddle really helps save my legs which makes me ride faster and further. I have wrapped it around with plastic wraps to protect it from dusts and experiencing absolutely no squeaking noises after hundreds of miles.

Absolutely Phenomenal Addition to Your Stock Seatpost
I recently purchased a large, powerful cargo e-bike that had almost everything I could ever ask for in a bike. It had large tires, a huge motor, and room for 3 people to ride. The one thing it didn't have, however, was a suspension. With the large tires, it does help even out little bumps when on smooth surfaces, but when hitting uneven sidewalks or large bumps in the road, it got pretty uncomfortable. Since I couldn't modify the frame to add a fork suspension, I thought I'd give this and another brand a try. They're both similarly designed, although the Redshift is 3x the price of the other. I'd say that as an accessory, having a suspension seatpost is absolutely one of the best, easiest upgrades you could make for your bike. The Redshift is definitely the premium player and they've earned their reputation well. The build quality is outstanding and it really eats up the bumps in the road. It can handle high performance riding and off road work well - probably better than any other. If you're going to be using it on smoother surfaces, however, like paved trails, bike paths, or sidewalks, the difference in price between this and a very similarly designed competitor is less obvious. The cheaper one is a bit less performance oriented, so it gives you a bit more bounce and easier travel. The Redshift is firmer, but can handle much bigger bumps. If you primarily ride on smooth surfaces, the quality difference may not be as apparent as when you go off road or onto a bumpy trail. The price is definitely worth it, but if you're on a budget, you would likely be just as happy with the cheaper option. I ended up keeping both and installed the cheaper one on my wife's e-bike since she's a less aggressive rider overall. I enjoy and appreciate the performance, so I definitely recommend it! My final thought is that if you're unsure of your bike's seatpost measurements, I'd go with the smaller diameter and simply use a shim to secure it. Likewise, if you want to be able to swap it between bikes, having the smaller one makes it a bit more universal. I'll occasionally pop this out of my e-bike and use it on my single speed Dahon folding bike to make the ride more enjoyable. Definitely check this out. It's worth the investment for sure!

Top of the line suspension seatpost.
I'm so glad I got one of these. The seat post is amazing! It is much better than any of the other suspension seat posts that I've used. I also own the Kitchen Sink bars, and once I get the suspension stem, I'll have the whole ShockStop system. That will be a glorious day. The Pro V2 is probably the lightest suspension seat post on the market. The compact design is something of its own. There are no others that I've seen like it other than V1. It manages to get rid of a lot of the 'ugliness' of most suspension seat posts. Most people won't even know it's there without really checking out your bike. The design depends on springs and elastomer tech to dampen the bumps. There is a hard and soft elastomer that can be switched out for the desired damping. It's not hard to change. I found the soft elasomer to be too bouncy in the saddle, so I switched it out with the hard one, and it is perfect! The springs may need replacing after a while. I've interacted with Redshift customer service, and they are absolutely fantastic. Just contact them, and I'm sure they have your back. They stand behind their products. The Pro V2 is a good build with durable parts and components. This seat post has exceeded my expectations. It's going to make the long rides much easier on the behind. It'll help with the short ones too. I ride on multi-surfaces, so I put this on my gravel bike. I think it is best suited for the crumbling roads and trails across the country. People think gravel bikes are a gimmick, but we know better, don't we? I can't wait to get out on a ride again with this suspension seat post. I will never go back to the old style. I will keep the post on my road bike rigid though. I don't feel like it would be good for that, because I'm actually trying to keep that bike light. I don't see why it couldn't be put on a road bike if that is your fancy. If you have a mountain bike, this could probably work for that too. I can't recommend this enough. If you're on the fence about it, don't be. It's worth the hefty price tag, in my opinion. They put a lot of thought into this design, and it shows. You won't find anything else like it. I won't pass up an opportunity to post a pic of my bike either. You can see I have the post attached.
