I bought this flying orb as a Christmas present for my adult son, and honestly it ended up entertaining the whole household. We did struggle a bit at first to figure out how to start it — we’re not great at reading instructions in the beginning — but once he gave it a shake, it suddenly came to life and absolutely went mental around the room. It was completely unexpected and had us all in fits of laughter. Our dog then immediately started chasing it like it was the greatest toy ever, which just made it even funnier. It’s surprisingly fast and responsive once activated, and the lights make it look really impressive as it spins and zooms about. Definitely one of those toys that brings instant fun and chaos in the best way. A couple of things to note: it’s a little on the noisy side, but that’s not an issue if you’re using it in a decent-sized space. I’d also recommend keeping it away from very inquisitive pets unless you want an impromptu game of chase! Overall, it’s a brilliant novelty gift, loads of fun, and great for getting people laughing together. Would absolutely buy again.

Bought it as a family toy for use by everyone but it’s not as easy as it looks in the videos on YouTube. Tried it inside the house several times and yet to get some semblance of control for more than a few desperate seconds. Will try it outside when weather permits. Warning - all the reviews I’ve found on many review and sales sites on the internet say if use it in semi or slightly strong winds be prepared to lose it as it’ll get carried away by the wind.

Bought two of these in yesterday, they seem good quality and function as advertised. They are well presented and a lot of fun to figure out. I didn't see a lot of recent reviews on here so thought I'd add this one. Obviously not been able to see how well they last yet but will post back after xmas!

My teenage son put a cheaper version of this on his Christmas wish list, but I couldn’t bring myself to spend £9.00 on something that would break after 5 minutes… so, after a lot of research, I opted for this as a more expensive alternative. I am so glad that I did! He’s already mastered the “technique” and had loads of fun playing with his flying orb… my advice, buy better quality if you want something that does what it’s supposed to do!

Its pretty fun, very light, NOISY, unpredictable, certainly takes some getting use to..... the battery life isn't great, approx. 10 mins before it needs charging again pretty durable as I've had lots of accidents with it... works as intended

I was worried this wouldn't work as seen in adverts. But straight out of the box my daughter and I were able to have fun send it across the room and make it boomerang with ease. Great value for money

Waste of money. Didn’t do for me as it said on the tin. Flies erratically with no control whatsoever, much like a fly that has been sprayed with insect repellent.

Love this, will take my son some practice to master it!

I was really excited about this Magic Flying Orb Ball since it promised fun hand-controlled flying and hovering action, but it was a total letdown. Right out of the box, it wouldn’t hover at all—no matter how I tried charging it or following the instructions, it just spun weakly on the ground and died after a few seconds. The controls felt unresponsive, and it didn’t fly or respond to gestures as advertised. Feels like cheap plastic junk that’s not worth the money. Save yourself the hassle and skip this one—major disappointment!
