I bought this for my one year old nephew and it's quite sturdy. It doesn't fold up, but I didn't need it to. It's perfect for him to play in with his toys without worrying about him getting into stuff. But I do recommend laying something soft on the bottom, it doesn't come with a pad/cushion

Definitely a great play yard, easy to put together but make sure you get a play mat with it. Obviously I need to read better but incase someone misses that detail too. *ops, lol!*

There are a lot and I mean a lot of pieces for this playpen. I would definitely not call this a portable playpen. If it takes you 10 to 15 minutes to assemble and disassemble every time you want to use it then how can this truly be portable. The ones I have had in the past are much heavier than this one but you literally unzip a bag, stretch them out and push down on the center and your done. How long is that? 2 minutes tops. This one you better keep up with all the pieces and they should really give you separate bags to put the different pieces in. The material is not very soft that wraps around it and it sits flat on the ground unlike any of the others I have ever had or seen. If you put this playpen on a hard surface then it will be very uncomfortable. I am not happy at all with it and I can not recommend it personally. If you want to spend time assembling this playpen everywhere you take it then it might be for you but not me.

I am very happy with this playpen. It was not difficult to set up at all, and I did it myself in about 20 minutes. It feels sturdy and I do not fear that it will collapse or injure my child in any way. The mesh is great and breathable and it stays cool and consistent with the temperature in the house inside of the playpen. I needed to get a mat to go down inside of it, as it does not come with one. I do like the little hanging things from the top to help the baby grab and pull up and stand; that was a great addition. The travel bag is also good for anytime I need to take it on the go. Very happy with it!
