Works great — but be careful, many fake versions out there!
The scanner I received actually works well — but not all of them do. If you're buying a WiFi OBD2 Mini V1.5, make sure you're getting a real one, not a fake V2.1 version that barely supports any protocols.✅ What I liked:Connected quickly to my iPhone using “Car Scanner” app.Reads live data: RPM, coolant temp, speed, voltage, fuel trims — no issues.Helped me clear a check engine light on my Sprinter, saving me a trip to the mechanic.⚠️ WARNING: There are a lot of fake versions of this device on the market:Real ones use firmware V1.5 — check it using the app (Car Scanner or Torque).Fakes often show V2.1, don’t support CAN protocol, and won’t work on many cars.A legit version supports all OBDII protocols, and should show engine RPM, temp, speed, etc. If it doesn’t — return it!🧠 TIP: When you first connect, make sure your phone stays on the WiFi network of the device — it won’t have internet, but that’s normal. Also, make sure your ignition is ON.Overall, for the price, it’s a very useful tool if you get the right version. Mine works great, but I recommend checking firmware version right after you get it.

Bait and Switch
The photo in the listing claims this uses the ELM327 interface, but what I received looks nothing like the photo. It's a cheap piece of junk that would not connect to any app I tried. (I tried several.) The instructions were a joke. They are printed on a tiny piece of paper smaller than a business card that give very little information and were clearly written by someone with only a tenuous grasp of the English language.

Wouldn't pay $0.01 for this
Its a waste. As some others reported its a nightmare to connect or stay connected. Tried about 30-40x with only a couple times staying connected long enough to read codes... and never could stay connected long enough to clear them. Saddest part... neighbor brought over a slightly higher priced (barely) unit I almost bought. Worked flawless while this one was already pitched in the trash.

Cool product but...
This product is really cool to have but unless you're a mechanic (in which you wouldn't need this) or at least a brave DIY person willing to chance mechanic work on your vehicle, it really doesn't matter. I used it to get the code and read about that code online. Could I have fixed my car? Maybe but it would it was a risk I didn't want to take. Can you use the device and just let a mechanic know about it? Yes, you can. Will the mechanic just accept your diagnosis and skip their own diagnosis, thus waiving the charge for their own diagnosis? Nope...and frustrating as that may be, it's absolutely better business that they do their due deligence rather than take your word on it based off a product you bought for about $7.99.Overall, I like this product for the peace of mind it provides in allowing me to find what my issue is with my car. But believe me, that's all it will do, which is good enough for me.Note: you should NOT leave this device plugged into your car after you've gotten the code. I've had other similar devices that somehow completely drained my car battery. Even the documentation for this particular OBD reader advises the same.

Disconnects a lot and shows odd codes.
I keep replacing these little blue scanners because they keep dying. This one is different than the others I have had but it also won't stay connected very well, as if the Bluetooth is weak or something. Also at first, it shows strange codes on the Torque app and if you reconnect they go away. My other app won't even connect to this one. I'd say try a different one as this one is a bit off.

Lags a bit but that may just be the bluetooth itself
I've used these cheap scanners whenever I didn't want to take my more expensive scanner to check people's fault codes and real time data.It works and connects perfectly fine to my Samsung galaxy.I would say it's worth the money, if it gets lost or damaged, it won't hurt your pocket.

Works
Used it on a few cars at work to test and set up. Using torque pro on android. Then used it to communicate with a 2018 triumph v-twin and was able to clear the codes and get the bike running. My autel wouldn't communicate or my snap on. So had to get one of these plus the $20 app on my phone and it did exactly what I needed it to do. Favorite part is that it's wifi and not bluetooth so I can still listen to my headset while using this device. I have other Bluetooth ones but can't find them so figured spend the extra couple dollars for the wifi one and it definitely works faster and keeps my bluetooth open for other things.
