I was a bit wary of the spikes on the brush but was pleasantly surprised that the dog sat still for me. Lifted a good amount of fur and I’m very impressed with the spikes disappearing when I press a button and I’m left with a neat handful of hair to dispose of.

I bought this brush mainly for my best buds awekward coat. He's an old tyne bull dog. Short coat but a lot of it. This brush has been removing his undercoat nicely without been an unpleasant experience for him. Coat is looking great, almost ready for out with the old and in with his amazing winter coat. A bit time and patience, daily pamper with this brush has worked for my bestie. Easy grip on handlle to use, so easy to get rid of hair for birds or bin. Great price, love it, bargain.

This is a lovely brush, I bought it because my old one was falling apart, it's the first time I've had a self cleaning one, it's so much easier to use, the hair came straight off. My dog was tangle free and happy.

Great quality, works well. Has a retractable pins button so that the bristles can be pulled back into container head before storing it, which helps clean/ remove hair from pins easily and also avoid pins from getting bent.

I love the way it feels in my hand. Easy to operate. Not too long, not too short. Sturdy construction that looks tight and resilient. Works wonderful on my cats, both long hairs and my short hairs. I tried it on my little dog (Yorky/Dashound mix) who has 2 inch long hairs, and when I went to operate it to have it push the hairs out, at first there was a little resistance. But that is because dog hair is coarser than cat hair. Cat hair pushes out easy Peezy. I would highly recommend this brush for cats. Pay no intention to the negative reviews because one lady apparently took her brush apart and broke it. I do not see how it's designed to be taken apart at all. This is a great brush for cats. They feel like they're being petted. My cats all liked it and they all have different personalities. I have one cat who just has thick hair and pulling the hair out of my old brush with sharp bristles was painful to my fingers. I LOVE THIS BRUSH with soft knobs that will not irritate your cat's skin and the hair just pushes right out when you manipulate the button. If you're looking for a good brush for your cats, I highly recommend this brush!

This was a great find. I adopted a white dog, doesn't shed much but even a little bit is too much for me. For one thing, it sets off my allergies. This brush is a great invention. You click the button to present the bristles, then when you're done brushing you push the button again, the bristles retract leaving the hair. It's so easy to keep it clean, no digging in among the bristles to get the hair out. I brush my dog outside every day, then retract the bristles and throw away the accumulated hair. Simple and clean.
