Is there a way to attach it to canon dslr for astrophotography ?

For casual astrophotography, you can purchase a smartphone adapter clamp that attaches to the eyepiece and centers the smartphone camera lens on the image projected by the eyepiece.  Set your phone to snap a picture on voice command (most of them let you do this.) You can try letting the phone snap a picture automatically, or set your phone's camera to manual focus, and set the ISO and desired time exposure(s) for the image. Make sure you don't have any stray light or lay a black cloth over the assembly.  It works surprisingly well.
