Is this grown in China?

Thank you for your question. We are happy to advise you that our organic chlorella is sourced from an island in the South China Sea, in an environmentally pristine area, far from industrial activity. Our chlorella is harvested in freshwater cultivation ponds, under strict conditions of purity, with our supplier taking great care in the manufacturing of this micro-algae. Every batch undergoes a heavy metal test at the production facility and the UK port health authorities check for radiation for any products they deem at risk or have potential for exposure as well. Is this Chlorella grown in outside ponds? Does it grow with natural sunlight?

As far as I know this is grown in outdoor ponds. If you want confirmation you had better ask the company that produces it.

Hi there, is this freeze dried and pasteurized?

Not sure but this is what it says, "Chlorella has a tough cell wall which acts as barrier to our absorption of its nutrition. This is broken using high impact jet spraying which preserves the nutritional integrity and makes it accessible and undamaged when consumed. The algae is then immediately dried and ground into powder form by an advanced spray technique that preserves its nutrients for better absorption" Hope that answers your question.
