24v 10a 240w for 60v to 24v Step Down Converter 48 to 24 Volt dc Converter (28-60v DC Input)

Very nice converter that ranges up to 60v. It has a 10 amp rating and that is consistent with the heat sink surface. I use this type of converter when I am converting a high voltage power pack to use with 12v motors. It works quite well and from what I have seen the power loss is minimal. The wiring is nicely sealed and it has a IP67 waterproof aluminum housing. In a high humidity area, you need to ensure that your equipment has the highest IP rating possible and I struggle to find good equipment. This fits my uses.

This step-down converter is great for maintaining steady voltage. It ensures connected devices stay protected from over-voltage fluctuations. It’s a practical and effective solution for powering equipment safely and consistently.

Another generic module manufactured in China. First glance shows a good looking unit sealed with epoxy. Good for outside, extreme conditions but not board level repair. If in a critical or hard to access area I'd suggest multiple replacements be on hand. Unit itself is tagged with critical numbers and ID (good for them). Heatsink size and weight is substantial and based on past experience sufficient for this size supply . Tested unit except for temperature extremes this meets published specs. Leads are probably ok for normal installations but also far from mil. spec. The area where this shines is having a completed unit which may be used for plethora ( at users risk of tasks without the need to design and build one inhouse. Cost effective.

This one stopped working on me shorly after use. Had a fuze in it even. It just register 1v AC for some reason. There dont have switches or anything to reset. Ive used many of theses. Constction and material looks to be the same as others. The unit is small and easy to insall. Just a pair if ins and a pair of outs. Nothing to it. Use em anywhere.... when it works

I use this to charge a 7s lifepo4 battery pack from a wide range of input voltages. Its great. It gets a bit warm at full tilt but it readily puts out 15-18 amps to charge the pack in just over an hour. I felt so confident about its operation that I glued it directly to the BMS and hardwired it with solder for the best operation I can get from it. I cannot reccomend it enough if you have a need for good stable 23.7-24.3v power. It functions perfectly and installs in place very well. The gritty surface from the sand cast shell is perfect for gluing to a flat or slightly curved surface, but I would be careful with your torque if using the bolt holes, as the material is likely brittle on account of it being sand cast. Overall, its a perfect little power supply with a big punch as long as you treat it right.

Initial testing at almost the full load has been very stable. After about half load there is very minor voltage drop, and then about a full volt of drop at near max, but for most use cases this is probably just fine. I need to power a 24V 3D printer MCU board from a 48V power supply, this step down converter will easily handle this task. It's relatively small for the rated output. I think this is a good value if it lasts. I will update this review if there are any issues.

The metal housing feels sturdy and durable. I used this converter with 40V Li-ion batteries to power 24V LED light strips (around 100W total), and it performed perfectly. It delivers stable output and meets my needs without any issues.

Fast delivery, works great. However, is only 150W capable.

This is a good DC-DC buck converter for reducing 28-60V input down to the common 24V. I like that the electronics are fully potted in the aluminum (?) block which both protects it and acts as a heatsink, which you'll need if pushing the full rated 10 amps through the unit. At around 5A output with a 52V input, the unit only gets slightly warm.

Brand new, arrived in a sealed bag in good condition. No connectors included and no instructions but the wires are clearly labels. Easy to connect and work as expected. But I find it expensive @59.74 (no discount, 2025-06-15)
