Awesome UHF Helical Antenna
I Have Always Been A Big Fan Of UHF Helical Antennas, For Both Transmit & Receive Characteristics In Addition To Great Performance. I Have The KRA - 23 M On My Kenwood NX 1300 For GMRS Use, With SWR Readings At 1.43 Compared To 2.43 On The KRA - 42 M 2" Helical Model. Very Little "Swishing" Effect Both On Transmit & Receive. Better Than UHF Whip - Great Performance On GMRS Frequencies. Good Stuff.......
