but when I got a size up like recommended they were way too big
Hahaha Had to get 3 pairs to decide on the right size for me!;) so obviously it feels a bit different than other vibrams that i have. At first i thought I ordered a size too small, but when I got a size up like recommended they were way too big. I normally wear 8.5-9 and that is the size that fits me best. After a couple hours of wear they feel perfect! Everyone is different but mind that the larger the shoe the wider too, so for large skinny feet they might not fit as well. These are an awesome pair of shoes! Comfortable, keep my feet warm and feel great!

Very good shoe.
I've previously had the bare minimal 5finger shoe in the past, they were at least 5 plus years old, so I had to get used to having the thicker sole and material. But they are very comfortable indeed. But I did need to go up half a size though with this particular design. I think it was due to the thickness of the fabric. Great item.

Odd fit at first but getting better. Not too warm so prob good all year.
Little too big for my big toe bit tight between my little toe for first week or so. Have relaxed in recent days for my little toe. Coupled with sock fit is better. Overall happy with purchase.

Sizing differences....
These shoes are a UK size 10.5/11 EU size 46 (made in Vietnam) which are a little tight compared to my UK size 11/EU 45 (made in China) which are a little bit big. Other buyers throughout Amazon have mentioned sizing issues too and this may be due to the country of manufacturing, if so, then make sure you buy from the a country that suits your foot size. My third pair would be from China if at all possible. These are a great shoe if you have wide feet or suffer from inter digital blisters.

Terrible sizing
Arrived 6 days after initial expected date. I sized up from a women's 5 to a men's 6 (technically 2 sizes as I'm 38 and they're 40, yet my little toes where squashed to death!!!

they worked wonders
they are very comfortable. took a little bit of thinking about to get them on as more than one toe wants to fit in one 'finger' of the shoes . now i have worn them several times my feet seem to have muscle memory so putting them on is not such a task. spreading my toes took the tension out of my back. within an hour or so i was no longer feeling back tension. long walks with the dog no longer make my knees ache and my back spasm. once i have adapted fully to long walks i shall be beginning to run in them. just be prepared for some pleasant and not so pleasant reactions to them by others

They did tear. However this was because my foot was ran over by a London taxi driver.
Best footwear I've ever worn. Cannot thing of being my next pair that aren't vibram five fingers

Comfy and warm
Great shoes that do keep your toes warm.... untill they get wet which unfortunatley still happens with these. Really wish they would bring out a waterproof model! Bring back Lontra!

Just got these yesterday and have tested them out twice. Once while walking the dog in the evening (-11) and once this morning for a quick run (-14/-21 with wind chill). So far these are great! They fit well (went one size up from my summer Vibram), they are warm and the traction is very good! My toes got a bit cold on the run this morning, but that's to be expected when they are in their own little compartments and can't share heat. The socks I wore may contribute to the cold toes as well. Once your feet start to sweat, they will get cold quicker. I will test them out with some more runs and dog walks, and edit my post if anything changes. Definitely recommend these to anyone who wants to keep up running in the colder weather.

Ok so first of all, the picture of these shoes at the top of the page do not do them justice. They look 100 times better when you see them. Next, people are saying to buy two sizes bigger. In my case I normally wear size 44 and for some reason the size 45 for this shoe is like $30 cheaper than the other sizes, and at $99 that's the one I bought. And thankfully, they fit perfectly, if not a little too big. And I always wear socks. If you wear vibrams daily and have many different pairs there's a few things you just know.... 1. Don't EVER pull on the tongue to put these shoes on. Ever. 2. Shove your toes in, get them into the toes of the shoe, and then wrestle with the heel to finish getting them on. 3. These shoes, like all shoes, take a little time to conform to your foot, loosen up, etc. So the feel when you first put them on right out of the box is not what they will feel like a week later after wearing them every day. (I didn't have any issue with the tongue on these by the way, but they have never felt super strong. I always just shake my head when I see people complaining about the tongue ripping off. They are putting them on wrong) Finally, these are the warmest Vibrams I own. I bought them because I only wear Vibrams Five Finger Toes now days and our winter in IL has been frigid so far. We are talking -13 or worse with windchill a few times. Lots of snow, etc. I was wearing my regular Trek Ascent's and they just weren't warm enough. These shoes LITERALLY feel like those heavy duty winter gloves (like in my picture) that you wear to keep your hands warm when you are outside and touching snow, they look and feel just like them when you put these on. It's great. I wouldn't say these are the most comfortable vibrams I own, at least as my first impression, but they are the warmest, so they have their purpose. I'm a painter and spend A LOT of time on my feet though, so I will update this after a week or two with how well they do for that. I worry that I'll need to bring a different pair to change into because these may get too hot or uncomfortable after a couple hours of working. UPDATE: So after wearing them for a week I have some updates. They are very comfortable for the most part. However, I personally had an issue with the right shoe, these shoes go up a little higher over the ankle than most Vibrams, and for some reason on the right side when the shoe would rub against my fibula (the bone that sticks out on the outside of your ankle) it would hurt like hell. It wasn't even rubbing the skin raw or anything like that, just merely touching it was hurting like crazy for whatever reason. And the left shoe rubs the same bone on the other side and I don't even feel it. Anyways, I made a slight alteration and just cut the shoe around that spot, you can see in a pic below, and they are perfect now. Now I've never had this happen before, and I'm not going to give up the warmth in these shoes to return them and go with something else or try a different pair, it's not the shoes that are the problem it's my body in my opinion. But I've walked in snow, I've spent a bit of time outside in very cold weather, and these shoes are absolutely fantastic at keeping your feet warm. They do a decent job of keeping your feet dry as well. I can honestly say I haven't had a wet foot yet with these, though I don't think they are waterproof or anything. That's just not how vibram rolls unfortunately lol. Ok, hope this helps someone. Update 2: So I've been wearing these for weeks every day. I have yet to get cold feet (no pun) or wet for that matter. I'm extremely satisfied with these Vibrams for winter shoes.

Förutom att de är små i storlekarna, fick ta 2 stl större, så är det den bästa av alla märken jag provat, håller i många år & är jätteskönt.
