Shimano 23 Sedona Spinning Reel 500 - C5000XG

Smooth operator. Come on down the price is right! Thought was wierd with the spool being thick but honestly who needs 300 yards of line on a smaller but not too small reel. Perfect size. Bass and Crappie rig. Cats too. Paired with St.CROIX Triump 7.0 MF

Wasn’t expecting it to be this big, but that turned out to be a plus—I was able to spool 250 yards of 10 lb fluorocarbon line with no issue. The reeling is smooth, the drag is strong and consistent, and the build feels very durable. Functional, reliable, and performs way above its price point. Highly recommended!

Inexpensive and very Good reel

Nice reel, but pretty small.

Absolute work horse of a reel. Fresh to salt water, ive caught big fish on the 2500 size. Super reliable. Just rinse it after the salt and itll last a damn long time before needing any attention.

Best reel I have ever owned. Extremely durable and smooth to reel on fish. Works great. Got it on sale so it was a even better deal

Great quality, went out today about 20 miles off shore caught atleast 20 mangrove snapper over 17 inches. Very nice hog fish and plenty if grunt. Could asked for a Better $90 reel.

ブランドにそれほどこだわりなく、上を見たらキリがありませんが、遠投サビキ用にダイワ20クレスト（5000）に買い増しです。20クレストに比べて少しずっしり感がありますが、置き竿で使うのであまり気になりません。ローターストッパ、逆回転スイッチ付きなので20クレストより高性能です。その分若干高いですが、見た目も良いし23セドナを選択してよかったです。上位機種は23レガリスを持っていますが、ねじ込みハンドルじゃない点を除けば、それほどガタもないし巻き心地も悪くない。これは良いリールですね。 １点気になったのはハンドルノブにベアリングが入っていないので回してると抵抗感を感じる点です。ルアー釣りじゃないので無視できる位ですが、惜しい！そんな感じでした。（ベアリングを入れればいいんだけど、そこまで必要も感じませんわ）

安い割にはしっかりしています。見た目はかっこいい。しかし重量が重い、XGは巻きが重い。上位機種との差はその辺がありますね。地面に置いても気にならない。安いのでガンガン使えますがね。ショアジギ、のませ、サビキ何でも使えそう

口コミ等で言われている通り、箱出しの巻感は少し巻き重りがあり、少しゴリっとしたフィーリングですがメーカー指定の場所にしっかり注油して軽く実釣で使えば馴染んで本来のポテンシャルになります。 コストパフォーマンスで考えると、安心があり軽量、気兼ねなくガシガシ使える感じなのでかなりいい商品だと思います。 何号のラインを巻くかで遊び方も変わってきますね。
