Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia Marco Polo Map (Marco Polo Maps)

Great map for thsoe planning a trip to SE Asia. This is an extremely detailed map and so is quite large. I would suggest using it for trip planning purposes rather than on the actual trip itself.

Ideal if you are looking for a very large scale map of Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia this will serve your needs, however, if you are planning a road trip around the United States, this will not be of much use to you.

I got this a few days ago and its amazing for like when you are at home and studying places you wanted to go , Pros Small , compact has markers very well detailed with a few extra information that comes with the map , Cons ( for me ) my cons are personal does not take away anything from the product its just reasons why I kinda have issues , when you open it its huge , I mean really really big but I guess its because its so detailed , I mean I just cant take it out anywhere , you need to be inside and have plenty of space , when I opened it slowly it ripped near the cover maybe 3 inches , I hardly touched it , I mean its a great map , taking it with me when I go there but i wont be taking it out until I am indoors , I recommend this to anyone because it is great , its probably me who is the problem :)

A great stocking filler for my Gap year travelling son. Clear and informative map which is user friendly even for students!

So this is undoubtedly a great map, it is strong and well made, covers a wide area, and is clear to read -- it even comes with stickers to mark locations on the map. I bought it before travelling to Southeast Asia to use in route planning, and eventually to take with me so I could visualise where I was, and had been, without the internet (I still like the idea of a physical map.) When I received it I thought it was wonderful, but quickly I found myself leaving it on a shelf somewhere as I planned my trip. It was simply a little too big, too cumbersome to have quickly at hand; the scale mirrors this, it covers an area that is too big, it is not really of any use. Add to this the fact that the international boundaries are not marked clearly enough, and a great map becomes useless. I still brought the map with me to Southeast Asia, but as time went on I realised it was just eating up space. After a couple of months I jettisoned it in Hanoi, and I never regretted it. If I needed a reference I just used google, it is quicker and clearer. I am still a fan of buying physical maps, but I simply think this one is not worth it, instead maybe buy a more country specific, and therefore detailed, map, or, something purely decorative. Either way, I would give this one a miss.

It's a good detailed map however I didn't realise how big it was! It was fiddly to open up due to its size. I do like it though

Great map, though maybe a bit large for using in a car. Lots of detail and huge coverage area (Chinese border to Singapore). All one sided.

This is a VERY BIG map. I wanted it for a cruise to Thailand and Vietnam. Since it was so big i stuck it on the cruise cabin wall with magnets, and could follow our route on the map. It was fantastic!
