Replaced blown capacitor in a Hunter fan, easy to install, built fine, and works great weeks later.

Corrected ceiling speed to 3 speeds nowp

Our 3 speed ceiling fan was reduced to a single slow speed after 7 years of service no matter what setting used. Rather than replacing the entire fan I opted to replace the capacitor. It was an easy process to remove the light assembly and cowling to gain access to the fan capacitor. Snip the 5 wires from the old capacitor and reconnect them to the new capacitor, replace the cowling and light assembly and we are back to enjoying the full functionality of our 3 speed fan.
