Update: as you can see in the photo the bigger patch is Avarelle and maybe I’m just terrible at applying it or maybe it’s the area I applied it but it did get wrinkly. It looks like it didn’t do much but it’s cause the whole patch sucked out the oils and some dead skin so you can’t see a huge difference. But overall the area where I had the patch on feels a lot smoother and cleaner. TLDR: Bigger and thinner than mighty patch, just as effective. For half the price!!! Great at drawing out sebum and oil. Recommend if mighty patch is out of your budget! For context, I’m currently a 20 year old college student and my acne has been through many ups and downs and unfortunately this time was a down. For the past couple of weeks I have actually been eyeing this product as well as the mighty patch. So I decided to order them both to try and see how they compare as one is twice as expensive as the other. The mighty patch consists of 10 patches for 17.99, while the Avarelle patch has 8 patches for half the price(8.50). In terms of size, I was pleasantly surprised with how big it was, the Avarelle patch covers a larger surface area and is in the shape of a square. The mighty patch is more rectangular and I would say half the size of the Avarelle patches. In terms of flexibility and thickness the Avarelle is slightly thinner and has the slightest bit more stretch than the mighty patch. Both stick on through out the night very well and didn’t budge even through my toss and turns. I would say that when putting on the Avarelle patch you might have to be slightly careful with where you apply it because I applied it between my jaw and neck area and it did wrinkle a bit and when I removed it, it did leave a slight mark from the patch. (THEN AGAIN, it might have just been the way I applied it and unfortunately I forgot to take pictures. But I will be posting an update when I use it again!) Now the real question is, were they effective? If you look at other reviews and pictures you will see that the patches extracted lots of sebum and oil. And that is true for both! (AGAIN WILL BE POSTING PICTURES WHEN THE NEXT TIME I USE!) Both acted the same, and I wouldn’t necessarily say they were uncomfortable but you can definitely feel the patch there. (So maybe for those with sensitive skin, be careful when taking off the patch) All in all, I would say they are both equally as effective, BUT Avarelle patches are bigger and cover more surface area than the mighty patch. It’s also slightly thinner and flexible than the other. AND IT WORKS JUST AS WELL FOR HALF THE PRICE! If you need a quick patch that works in removing oils and have an area with pimples that’s ready to pop, this is the product for you!

I have ordered these particular patches over 10 times, so it’s safe to say I’m a huge fan of the product. I like the extra large patches bc you can cut them down with scissors as small or as big as you want… no wasted product & you're getting way more uses out of a package than if you buy the individual size ones. Result wise, this brand works better than any of the other ones I’ve tried. I put it on overnight and the difference in swelling and redness by morning is obvious! You can see how well it worked when you take it off and see the “evidence” on the patch. When I find a product that I swear by, I always like to share with others! Best bang for your buck and the patches give you great results!

I bought this patches to use as a layer of protection between my face and the mask I have to wear at work for +12 hrs. I was getting too many breakouts due to mask wearing and this patches have helped decrease the amount of maskne I get. I cut the square shape of each patch into two rectangles and apply each to my cheeks on the area where I'm more prone to getting cystic acne. The breakouts have not been prevented a 100% but have definitely been reduced. I've only got small pimples and no cystic breakouts because I'm still using Differin. I've recently started cutting each square patch into 4 long pieces and applying one along my chin to prevent chin maskne and it has helped as well. Before these patches I had tried tegaderm and duoderm but they both actually made me break out and were so hard to remove that my skin was very irritated after removal. The biggest downside is that at $8 is pretty much a dollar per patch and that money adds up. That's why I only use them for work. Wish the store had a package deal. They're still the most affordable ones I've found so far tho. The other problem is that the patch molds a little with facial expressions and wrinkles a little which makes your face have some marks after removal as if you slept on your face. Makes me think with prolonged use, as in years of use, I'll get wrinkles. But if I keep the patch not to close to my mouth the wrinkling is less. I'm aware the patches are made for occasional use but I'm reviewing how they work for what I'm actually using them.

Holy crap did these things work. I have TERRIBLE acne on my jaw line and neck and I’m the first to admit that I’m not good at keeping a skin care routine. Or any routine in general. So I’m always looking for a quick fix fully realizing that most “quick fixes” are just a waste of money. But let me tell you, this is a great quick fix. I’ve been putting one on each side of my jaw line each night, targeting different areas each time, go to sleep and wake up with my pores sucked of all the gross stuff. Let me tell you, it is disgustingly fascinating looking at all the crap this stuff pulled out of my face. I cleaned with micellar water and let my face dry then pop one of these on. They are VERY sticky and sticks to itself very easily, so be careful pulling them off the strips. But getting them on was really easy and they don’t budge at all at night. I toss and turn a lot and was worried these would fall off, like many other spot stickers I’ve tried, but these worked amazing. Like I said, they are super sticky, so getting them off is much like ripping off a very large bandaid from your face. Stings a little but you get over it quick. Don’t wear these if you have to be presentable first thing in the morning though!! If you sleep in them you will end up with skin imprints from the pressure of the sticker, but they don’t last any longer than the imprints you get from your sheets, but could affect your makeup routine. Overall, AMAZING product. 15/10. I’ve signed up for a subscription they’re that amazing.

Bought this as i hated using up all the small dots at a time if i felt inhad a problematic area. As you can see from the photos its great!
