XIAOMI Smart Band 8 (Global Version)

July will mark 1 year since owning this watch and I absolutely love it. Heart rate tracker is incredibly accurate and comes in clutch especially during workouts. The step count, sleep tracker, battery life are the best and my most used features. As a nurse I also appreciate the built in timer and the water resistance! Apps can also be sorted for your convenience through the Mi Fitness app instead of having to scroll and find what you’re looking for. I will be buying a different band that is more secure as the only issue I’ve had with this watch thus far is the standard black band getting caught and coming undone on things. It just pops loose and I don’t like that. However, overall an excellent watch!

Very easy to set up and use. Connecting and syncing to the app was quick and easy. The app is amazing and there are a lot of customization options. Monitors heart rate, workouts, steps etc. Also supports camera control from the watch. Takes 2 hours to fully charge and lasts for 2 weeks. Amazing product for the price. Very happy with the purchase and would recommend it over Fitbit or other similar expensive smart bands.

great watch.... does more than the iPhone watches

This watch started to malfunction after about two weeks. I would say even before two weeks the battery life would be used up in a day. Then it would start to shut off and turn on, on its own. The screen would behave erratically. I’d go to sleep with a full charge and wake up with 20%. Since I had a Xiaomi band prior to this one that was reliable enough, after a couple days I threw the box away. After 1.5 months the watch completely died. It wouldn’t charge, and there’s no manual reset button. At this point, I couldn’t return it to Amazon because the deadline had passed. I contacted Xiaomi support team and they were completely unhelpful. I wasn’t able to give them the serial number since it isn’t printed on the watch itself and it’s only on the box which again I had thrown away because I didn’t anticipate this watch malfunctioning so quickly. And of course, since the watch is dead, I couldn’t connect it to my mobile app anymore to get product details. Overall, just super displeased.

Great! I've been using this for a while now, solid battery life and great functionality for a fraction of the name brands. It even connects to my health insurance app and gets me rewards.

I bought the Mi Band 8 back in end of January 2024. I used the product 24/7 to track my sleep, steps, recovery, and other basic health markers. I knew this was a lower-end product so I didn't honestly expect the most accurate or intelligent tracking system. It worked good for steps and basic cardio tracking. But obviously weightlifting (like most trackers) is quite inaccurate. And sleep tracking was always subpar but I really didn't mind. The kicker here is that months later, the display just stopped working entirely. I can't navigate screens and it randomly turns on and off. I've spent the last few weeks trying to contact customer service, the warranty center and any representative across their websites, hotlines and social media outlets but no one can help and every number and web page they direct me to says "404 error page not found". For the price, I knew I was taking a gamble on this tracker, but I just wanted to share my experience to help out the next buyer. Since I can't get ahold of anyone for the manufacturers warranty I am now on the hunt for a new fitness tracker, one with a better customer service reputation. 3 stars because when the tracker worked, it wasn't bad - it's what you'd expect for the price tag in my opinion.

I love this watch, I’ve been wearing it since September 2024 with no issues. I charge it for like 30 minutes and wear it for 2 weeks at best. It’s small and cute, and I got some bands so it’s not overly bulky with my more formal attire. I never got a screen protector but it’s still very scratch free. I don’t ever take it off, the screen is sensitive so with water contact, it will touch on its own, totally fine. I wish it was more compatible with my iPhone fitness/health app but I guess this is what I get for the price I paid. Now, 6 months later and this is my screen. No life, left is in rice, and just morning. This randomly happened this weekend. It lasted a few minutes then the screen came back, weird. Then it happened again and just never left. I love the brand, and the cost especially so I am thinking to buy a bigger and later model to replace this since I cannot return but I am bummed out. 6 months is such a short time.

I love this little tracker. I watched a bunch of reviews and I understand that this band is never going to be as accurate as the Apple Watch or a chest strap. That said, you're not paying nearly as much for this, and it punches WAY above its weight class. Sleep is one of those areas where it's not supposed to be super accurate and for me, I find that it's pretty spot on - so there's that. There is person-person variability with all of these devices: skin color, thickness of your wrist, how much hair you have, what kind of exercise you do, etc. For general fitness, I find this band to be really good. It does a great job of tracking my workouts and it even provides you with some insights. Screen is nice and bright. Battery life is 8+ days with all health tracking turned ON and all notifications OFF. Steps are very accurate. Heart rate data is decent enough for steady state workouts and resting measurements. Never swam with it but I shower with it every day with no issues. All in all, a great value proposition.

Franchement great product for the price. Ça fait tour ça qu'il doit faire. Je l'utilise pour faire de la natation en piscine, courir en salle et faire des étirements dynamiques. Attention par fois elle ne registre pas là longueur en nage, mais ça dépend de la nage mais je fais de la natation artistique et parfois nos longueurs sont avec des mouvements "atypique" vis à vis la natation normale. Facil à setup et la batterie dure 6 -7 jours si tu l'utilise en mode "relax", cad (avec mon setup actuel) - notifications uniquement pour des appelles et message - monitorer mon sommeil (sans erm) - faire du sport (4-5 fois par semaines)

Llegaron muy bien en sus cajitas y al introducir el código de Xiaomi confirmamos que era original. El reloj es un aparato que tiene muchas funciones muy útiles y cuenta con algunas mejoras que el modelo anterior. - A diferencia del 7 la correa no es una sola pieza, sino son dos que se atoran con un mecanismo de ganchito. Si tienes un modelo anterior no vas a poder reutilizar las correas. - La pantalla tiene un buen tamaño (casi el mismo tamaño que el 7). - Incluye más opciones de deporte que el 7, y en general tiene un buen desempeño (al menos en natación que es mi caso). - La aplicación (Mi Fitness) tiene las mismas funcionalidades que Zepp Life y los datos se pueden exportar fácilmente al hacer una cuenta, en términos generales no noto diferencias significativas entre una y otra. - Se puede personalizar fácilmente el fondo, los widgets y el menú. - Automáticamente al sincronizarla la pulsera se pone en el idioma que tengas en tu teléfono. En conclusión me parece un excelente producto por un precio razonable. Si estás pensando en regalarla o es la primera vez que vas a comprar una, definitivamente recomiendo. Si eres usuario de las MiBand y quieres renovarte la recomiendo si tienes de la 6 para atrás, el salto de la 7 a la 8 no siento que sea tan grande y creo que en todo caso valdría la pena esperar el siguiente modelo.

I get these Xiaomi smartwatches for my kids, they are solid (they resits a 5yo) and tend to be discreet. They pair with my phone via Bluetooth very easily and you can manage multiple aspect of the watch and its features through the app. They seem accurate for sleep and activity that's the main feature we use. Overall value for money!

Asegúrate de que el fondo y los elementos de la pulsera quedan bien y no se solapan.
