Before buying this espresso knock box, I was doing the worst workaround—using my hand to protect my portafilter while knocking the puck out against the trash can. It usually took multiple hits, I had to put a towel between my hand and the trash can, and more than once I pinched my fingers. It honestly drove me nuts and made cleanup way harder than it needed to be. This knock box completely solved that problem. The puck comes out cleanly and easily with one knock, no mess, no frustration, and no risk to my fingers or portafilter. The removable knock bar is sturdy, the anti-slip pads keep it in place, and the 1.2L size is perfect for multiple shots without constantly emptying it. It’s well-made, durable, and looks great on my coffee bar. If you’re still knocking pucks into the trash can (and risking your hands), do yourself a favor and get this. Works like a charm and makes espresso cleanup effortless. Highly recommend!

Not much to say about it, it looks good, works as intended, easy to clean, seems sturdy and durable. Stays planted on the counter. The hard rubber coated rod is a bit quieter than smacking your portafilter on a wood knock box.

So far so good. Perfect size for me; not too big, not too small. The box is made of thick durable plastic with a sticky silicone pad on the bottom to help keep the box stable and in place during puck removal. The silicone covering the metal bar is holding up very well. Very easy to clean. Great value for the money. Silicone tube and bottom pad helps with keeping the noise low during knocking.

This replaced a stainless steel knock box I had where the bar had 'issues' (would pop out/off when tamping). This item is great, the bar stays put, nice solid construction (thick 'plastic' with round edges), so you won't be cutting your hands on the edges. I thought it would be too big for my home set-up, but it's worked out great! This will likely outlive me!

Solid product, works as expected I’ve been using this product for a little while now and overall I’m very satisfied with it. It arrived well-packaged and matched the description on the listing. Setup/use was straightforward, and it performed as expected right out of the box. The build quality feels good for the price, and so far I haven’t had any issues. It does what it’s supposed to do and fits well into my daily routine. I appreciate the thoughtful design and ease of use. Did a lot of homework shopping for a bump box. Had no prior experience with one so wasn't sure what to expect. We are impressed with how sturdy, well built, and easy to clean this one is. My husband had a little trouble at first because it is small and you can end up flinging grounds if you are not careful. But once you develop the technique, it is very easy to use. If you can afford the space on your countertop, a larger one is a bit more convenient (empty less often) but we love the compactness and quality of this one for our limited space.

I used an espresso machine for about a year before really looking into getting more accessories and this was the first one I bought. I was really impressed with how much of a difference this makes vs dumping cups into the trash bin. Not only is it much cleaner and hassle free, but it actually looks really nice next to my machine. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a knock box.

A little big, but that's just personal preference. The fact of the matter is that this works well. You can feel the quality. The opening is nice and wide to catch the debris when you whack the portafilter on the rubber covered stainless steel bar. I would definitely get this again!
