Good map and durable.

I think that StreetWise does the best maps for European cities. I simply love unfolding this map because it's very durable and very detailed. It's very easy to find your location and map out where you want to go and map out where you want to go

Bought this for my adult daughter on her first trip to Italy. She needed to easily maneuver her way in Milan. Of course she has the latest iPhone and mapping, but she like an actual map in her hand -to refer to- in an unfamiliar large city. Bonus points that it’s laminated and folds up in 3 folds!

I used to love these maps in my 20s & 30s. Now that I’m a bit older I can’t see a thing on this map even with my reading glasses and a magnifying glass. I’m sure this is still a fantastic map for young people on their gap year. But older folks might want to search for something with print they can actually see!

I've said it before and will say it again, as much as I rely on my phone, I always carry a hard copy map when I'm traveling. You never know when cell service is going to be less than ideal. Not to mention its much easier to open up a map in a cafe and have a conversation about routes and destinations when you're using a map. These Streetwise maps are the gold standard, the laminated maps are durable, easy to carry and are perfect to have with you on a day of sightseeing. Seriously, do yourself a favor and buy one!

I know a lot people like to use phones, I'm an old fashion and I love to have a paper map that I can trace my route in advance and highlight any points of interest in the route
