I reworked how I first set it up because it was spilling the water out of the smaller fountain I first had it in and now it has a larger water reservoir to draw from. It lifts the water a foot to just bubble over rocks (no up spray). The fountain spray was catching the wind and pumping the water out quite fast. Of course, without sun, it stops working, but that's the nature of solar power.

Unfortunately not very satisfied with this fountain pump. It keeps cutting off, even in full sunlight. The water pressure is low—just a weak trickle that’s barely visible. I’d recommend a stronger pump for better performance.
