It you are doing it by yourself you wouldn't even need that much space. It is nice to finally have a DVD that doesn't assume you already know what you are doing. We couldn't be more pleased with our purchase. Even with my mental confusion, I am able to follow the instructor on this DVD. The instructor and the soft background music are very soothing to listen to.

Great for Uncoordinated Beginners!

It is slow movement and easy to learn
I exercise with this tape 5 to 7 days per week. It is nice and slow which makes it is easy on the old joints! I enjoy the movement and I do work up a sweat. I recommend this cd to anyone of any age!

Great exercise
Played this for the first time today. I enjoyed the exercises and the way he explained them. The quality was not perfect but that could have been my player will continue to use this I also want to look for any others that he has

Somewhat easy to follow direction
Not sure I can actually review this properly because shortly after buying it, I had a shoulder injury and have not been able to get back to my regular exercise routine. I did try it once or twice and it seems easy to follow and I am anxious to give it a try once I’m healed

Tai Chi DVD for over Fifty
This DVD is for 'over 50', but anyone can benefit from the exercises. Perfect for seniors or anyone with limited mobility. I have had five back surgeries and I have two implanted spinal cord stimulators. So I definitely was looking for some gentle do-able exercises. The entire lesson takes only 10 minutes, is easy to do. The DVD is filmed in a mirror view, so you do not have to learn the moves, just follow the instructor as he moves. Can't get any easier than that! After only a few days you'll notice (as I did), a difference. Not so stiff, can bend easier, walking and balance is improved. Your general well-being will be improved. Wish I knew about Tai Chi a long time ago. So, easy to follow exercises, 10 minute exercises, Improves walking and balance. What's not to love? Buy it, you need it, and I am so happy to recommend this DVD to you.

Great for Beginners!
This is a great video! I never had done Tai Chi but wanted to get started as part of preventing osteoporosis. I bought this video as it sounded useful for beginners - and it is. I loved that multiple people are doing the movements, so one can see how to slightly adapt the moves based on body size and capability. The instructor speaks very clearly and I had no problem picking up what to do after the 2nd time through. The primary Over 50 workout is just the right length - doable within 30 min but you still feel it - and feel great afterwards - all that deep breathing! ! My husband also enjoys it even though he has taken other Tai Chi classes - so it is not too simplistic. I highly recommend!

Favorite Tai Chi program, Love it
Love this Tai Chi program, clear, calming instructions, very, relaxing. Been having a problem with very painful hip bursitis/arthritis and most exercise, some Yoga exacerbates symptoms (in particular floor poses), and wasn't sure if I would be able to do Tai Chi as one leg does not take weight well. Everything is standing and the movement is more simple swaying from one leg to another and very gentle . You could use a chair in front of you if you were unstable, but I did not have to. Started using this in the morning for about 15 minutes ( program is much longer) and it worked wonders at loosening up stiffness and cranky hip. Then I tried it for another 15 minutes before bed after sitting watching TV for too long (not smart with Bursitis/arthritis.) Was amazed at how quickly it relieved the sore stiffness and I slept like a baby). People in normal clothes, moving in a natural fashion, good clear instruction. Well made DVD, my favorite and I wasted money on about 5 Tai Chi DVD's some of which were so Kung Fooey who over twenty would even try them?

Excelente, David Dorian-Ross es un excelente maestro, respetando todos los principios del Taichi, esta es una rutina suave pero completisima, movimiento continuo en total armonía. Excellent video even got my husband hooked on it and he is starting to feel the benefit especially in his neck. Relaxed video very clear instructions no jumping around.

I'm very fit and over 50 & found this to be a great introduction for people (fit or not so fit) who are 50+ yr. old. David explains well and that lady who does it with him in the video is impressive, so I thought it'd be good for 2 female friends who are approx. 68 & 86 - I gave them each one of the dvds and they've benefited from it.

I'm 67 and starting to stiffen up with a few aches and pains so thought I'd give Tai Chi a go as it is gentle. I bought this over a year ago, this one is for a friend who was so impressed by the difference it has made to me he decided to start. For something so gentle and on the face of it fairly undemanding it has improved my suppleness and balance and no more achy hips. I am delighted. It is just long enough and the instructions are so clear and easy to follow as you don't have to worry about right and left just copy what's on the screen . It took me a few goes to get the moves right but now I can do it like a pro. After a year of using this I have now bought the Tai Chi strength dvd to take it further. Thoroughly recommend it.
