At the time I purchase, the price point was excellent, and every tube I have opened has been in good shape. (No melting or separating from the base.) I tend to have very dry lips, and this is so smooth and soothing. Being a Vaseline brand, I was nervous that maybe greasy but definitely not. And has none of the waxy feeling of some chapstick / lip balms. It goes on clear, there is no tint. It is not scented, which was a plus for me. I'm a chapstickaholic, so I appreciate it having multiple at a decent price. Side note, I have accidentally left this in the car overnight and it held up without melting. Not saying you could leave it in the car permanently, I'm sure when the temperature got hot enough and or with repeated exposure it would start to melt.
