I bought every adaptor I could find and still cannot plug it in properly. Very annoyed that it even needs an adapter in the first place. Basically unusable.

Works great for my 5.5 Gallon tank, I actually modified it some in which then it works even better, inside the filter is a plastic basket that holds a small pouch of carbon, the basket has small holes, so I actually used the Fluval Zeo-Carb loose in there, it is big enough that nothing escapes! Works great! Then I trashed the little pre filter that comes with this, I felt it had large pores which let a lot through, and I got the Fluval Phosphate filters, and I cut them to size and put them as the pre filter, I think it makes it one of the most efficient filters I've ever had, and it SUPER QUITE I love that if I keep it just slightly above the water as it sprays from the long attachment it creates some bubbles, enough that my guppies are super happy, which is good because typically bubblers are very loud.

It's a great filter, as expected from Nicrew. Pros: Well built filter works great Cons: 1. it's noisy 2. IMO, it may be a little too much for smaller fish tanks like 5-6 gallons 3. If you have fish like Betta, it's not for you. Or, you can tweak it like some other reviewers mentioned I love Nicrew products. I'll return this one and order something more suitable.

Bought the 5-10 gallon filter, it was too strong and doesn’t seem to filter anything. The flow is too strong and was bad for my betta fish.
