So far so good. I only did one terminal crimp just to try it out. I was pleased with the end result. I just returned a manual tool that I was not pleased with at all. I was using cheap connectors but the manual tool squeezed out excess terminal material instead of incorporating it into the crimp. This hydraulic tool seems to crimp nice and even around all sides. I am most certain that I had to go 1 size smaller on the die. When finished I screwed the terminal to the work bench and pulled the cable with all my strength and it never loosened any. As of right now I am pleased with the tool.

Very nice kit. The cutters do a great job cutting through the largest wires. I did notice that I had to use the next size smaller adapters in order to get a good solid crimp on the wires. If I used the one to match the cable size it always left the lug a little loose. Maybe not a kit for daily use and abuse but more than good enough for occasional use. Made the task a lot easier than the way I used to do it.

Great tool for making boat battery cables. Easy to use. Many sizes to choose from. Nice case, nice price.

I ordered this to make all the connections for my battery be crimped and sealed. It worked flawless. The instructions are somewhat vague yet if your ordering it you know what it's for. Make sure to add hydraulic fluid to it. The included cutters are a nice touch.

I’ve only used this crimper once so far, but based on that experience it feels UNDERpriced. It handled stainless‑steel ferrules for the wire supporting a heavy mirror above a dresser without any drama. Solid bite, clean compression, no slip. For the money, it punches way above its weight.

I used this recently to making up some wiring harnesses with both Anderson type plugs and ring ends this was fast and simple. As I was not always using correctly matched ends and wire I had to experiment to determine the correct dies to use. But I was extremely satisfied with the results. This tool paid for itself in time and saved solder on this first job. I was dealing with primary 8 gauge stranded. This worked fine on the small 50amp Anderson type plug ends.

A highly recommended tool for Solar Systems Installations. I had the huge 14-Ton Hydraulic Crimper for a long time and have wired countless huge SkyHighCarAudio XL 4/0, 2/0, 1/0 AWG and Welding Cable OFC & Tinned OFC Pure 99% Copper power and ground cables lugs and ring terminals with outstanding results, but recently got into solar systems. The Huge 14-Ton can't crimp these tiny 12-8 AWG wires due to not having dies that small, this is where this hydraulic crimper saved the day. This smaller hydraulic crimper has the smaller properly sized and alignment dies for these smaller 12-8 AWG wires especially when crimping ferrules for use in solar charge controllers, making quick detach Anderson 50 Amp Connector Wire Crimps, and MC4 Ferrule Crimps. This smaller hydraulic crimper has saved the day on multiple applications during this solar system installation. I highly recommend it for it's heavy duty build quality, craftsmanship, durability, repeatability, consistency, and perfect crimps with smaller AWG wires.
