Step by step Step 1: Balance water hardness Measure the water values and put them in order with GH Plus and KH Plus. GH values between 8° and 12° DH and KH values between 6° and 8° DH are ideal for the pond. Test the water regularly to get insight into the development of the pond environment. Step 2: Put bacteria into the water The water-purifying bacteria in Bacterial start the pond and start directly with the biological 'cleaning'. Review: Funktion einwandfrei - Mein Teich mit ca. 25qm ist mit sehr vielen Unterwasserpflanzen besetzt und einer Filteranlage in der ca. 8qm / Std. gefiltert werden, mittlerweile geht der Teich in das vierte Jahr. Jedes Jahr ab ca. Mai fingen die Probleme mit den Fadenalgen an, sobald die Außentemperaturen stiegen wuchsen diese Algen enorm. Das einzige Mittel um dem einigermaßen entgegen zu wirken war das abfischen der Algen, das ca. 3-4 Std. / Monat Zeitaufwand in Anspruch nahm. Der Einsatz von Nitrat und Phosphat Bindern im Filter brachten ebenfalls nichts. Das Hauptproblem war aber, das die Algen die Wasserpflanzen überzogen und dies nicht mehr wuchsen bzw. teilweise abgestorben sind und der Teich in den Sommermonaten einfach nicht mehr schön war. Man kann nun streiten was schön und natürlich ist und ob der ob der Einsatz von solchen Geräten / Mitteln gerechtfertigt ist, das möchte ich aber hier nicht diskutieren und das muss auch jeder für sich entscheiden. Der T-FLOW ist bei mir auf 5% ( niedrigste Stufe ) eingestellt und aktuell im Dauerbetrieb, die Wirkung ( absterben der Algen ) setzte schon nach ein paar Tagen ein, nach ca. einer Woche war der Teich komplett frei von den Fadenalgen. Die Wasserpflanzen entwickeln sich nun sehr gut und wachsen einwandfrei im Vergleich zu früher, das Gerät funktioniert einwandfrei und ist deshalb absolut zu empfehlen. Einen negativen Punkt muss ich aber aufführen, ich bin kein Chemiker, habe mich aber mit der Wirkungsweise des Gerätes befasst, Algen mögen kein Kupfer und das Gerät gibt dieses Kupfer in das Wasser ab und behindert so das Algenwachstum ( Laienhaft ausgedrückt ). Kupfer ist nun mal ein Schwermetall wie jeder weiß, das Ganze ist auf eine gewisse Art ein chemischer Prozess, wird das Gerät ausgeschaltet lässt die Wirkung nach ca. 1 Woche komplett nach und die Algen wachsen wieder, dessen muss man sich bewusst sein. Was man ebenfalls wissen sollte, dieser Eingriff in den Teich bewirkt das bestimmte Lebewesen ( wirbellose ) absterben, da Sie wie die Algen das Kupfer nicht vertragen, bei mir sind es die Teichschnecken gewesen, da nach ca 3 Wochen verschwunden waren.
