I am a smoked food bbq guy and have been blown away with the results. This puts more smoke in 30 minutes on my food than my other pellet smokers and wood fired cookers do in 3 hours. We'll thought out. Super easy to clean and no open grill grate for drippings to fall through. Cold smoked cheese is excellent as well as smoked pizza. Made a better brisket than one i had won first place with on a different smoker. Stable cooking temperature delivers food faster than the wood pellet fired smokers, without the temperature swings they have trying to balance smoke and heat. negatives is the pellet hopper. Even tho it is small it's still holds more pellets than you need for a steak or burgers or a single pizza. You must fill the box for proper ignition, I bring this up because the pellet box isn't easy to remove when hot. When you are done cooking you of course turn the grill off but the pellets will continue to burn. Wish they had a little handle on the box to be able to remove them. App is excellent. Grill is sufficient in size for most items and is extremely portable. Awesome to have little bags of pellets instead of the big 40lbs. I truly believe this ended my quest for bbq smokers.

got me back outside on the grill again. It is a lot smaller than my old propane grill but I didn't need that giant any longer anyway. So far, smoking some chicken breast and thighs have been great. Did some steaks as well. I have been using the probes and for the steaks it was perfect. For the chicken breast with bones in them, I did have to push the cooking temp to 185 which was past the recommended temp in the app. Maybe I was not close enough to the bones with the probe so it misread the temp. The wood chips burn down very fast but for what I have cooked so far, the flavor into the chicken was perfect. Cleaning the grill surface has been easy but cleaning the top where the fan is, is not easy so don't let it get to caked on before cleaning that. I have found I rarely use the front panel except to turn it on. I don't find the controls there as easy to use as the phone app.

If you are wanting a smoke ring, this is not what you want. That requires a big Smoker that cooks for a long time. But this cooker is amazing, adds a wonderful smoke flavor to your food. You can air fry and smoke at the same time, so smoked fried wings are wow. Salmon turns out perfect cooked at 160° on Smoker for 45 minutes. Great flavor, very tender and juicy. Best cooker I have purchased in years and perfect for my apartment patio. I smoked some turkey legs that were amazing. I love this machine, it does so much and cooks so perfect it makes cooking easier.

Ok--well after much research about smokers etc--Finally decided on the Ninja--I'm sooo glad I did-- It really puts out lot of smoke for flavor but don't have to worry about keeping charcoals or woodchips burning and having to clean out ashes etc. The amount of ash left to dump is like a small handful. I've used this ninja 3 times with near perfect results. Yes there is a learning curve but lots of YouTube videos about using this Unit. Also unless your the type person who loves to watch food cooking closely--get the Ninja XL pro with the app for your phone--Is so easy to keep track of the cooking/smoking process and can even change cooking settings remotely --cook times cooking temps etc. If you need cook for large number of people, this Ninja is not huge but is fine for 2-4 people. Stick in the temperature probes close the lid and walk away and monitor the process from your indoor comfy chair --the lazy mans cooking grill ---and the crowning glory----sooo easy to clean the removable grill--has built in grease drain so once grill cools can wipe clean with paper towel get some of the grease off then just quick wash in the sink and your good to go.Non stick finish seems real durable but don't use metal grill tools may scratch it. I highly recommend this Ninja grill
