I bought these to proof large batches of bread dough in, and keep out bugs.I love these things! They work great for storing soups too as they are airtight. They don't leak if sealed properly. Very sturdy.

Very sturdy and durable

These things are fantastic. I bought the set of four smaller 2 quart ones and one larger 4 quart one. And I gifted the same thing to someone else (who was excited to get them!). The larger one is perfect for mixing large amounts of food and for storing any large size of party food. The smaller ones are great for every day use for storing leftovers and for serving (they are nice enough to use in informal settings). They stack great, whether they are empty in your cupboard or filled in your refrigerator. I wish they made a 1 quart size too for smaller sized leftovers. They are easy to open and easy to close. My arthritic hands love them. I either put them in the top shelf of the dishwasher or I hand wash them. Especially the lids need to be hand washed. Since I have no warping, I get no leakage.

This contains 2 bowls and 2 lids, it isn't specified anywhere and the photos don't help to make that distinction. It's noted as a 4 pack in 4-5 spots so its misleading at best. They work as you'd expect and amazon gave me a 50% discount for the false advertising.

They are exactly what I wanted . I ordered these to replace a broken one that I had already had for years . They came today and I wasn’t expecting them till June 3 fabulous as usual Amazon !
