Only have hot water available, no coffeemaker. These instant coffee packets make a very tasty cup of coffee with just hot water. I prefer 'Italian Roast'.

Love Italian Via! So roasty and toasty rich tasting and easy! The price has us close to having to give it up though. I will miss it!

Great product

Once or twice a year, all of my local Starbucks stores seem to be completely sold out of the Via Italian Roast Decaf product for multiple weeks at a time (very frustrating!), so I order the 50-count package from Amazon instead. In my opinion this is the best-tasting instant decaf coffee on the market - rich, bold, and dark, very close to brewed coffee or a Starbucks Americano. As other reviewers have noted, it is a bit odd that Amazon ships the individual loose packets in a plain cardboard shipping box, rather than in the Starbucks stand-up box as pictured in the product description, but I did receive all 50 packets as promised, and the expiration date printed on each packet is 10 months out, so the product itself seems to be fine. The price was good too - slightly less per-packet than what I'd pay for the 12-count package at Starbucks. Overall I'm satisfied with the purchase, but I wish Amazon would include the sealed Starbucks outer packaging rather than shipping the individual packets loose in a shipping box.

The best instant out there because it contains a little bit of ground real coffee. It packs a great punch.

Update: I just got the second box and all 50 are there! I am upgrading to 5 stars, was a pretty small error. I just received my box of coffee packets, and there are only 49 not 50. This is quite expensive...I will pay for the good Starbucks coffee but I want all 50! Otherwise I would give it 5 stars. I don't want to bother returning, but I am expecting another box tomorrow and will see if that is short also.

I've been drinking these for years every morning. I know, what's the point of decaf and instant?! Well it smells good and tastes good and that's all I need, not the caffeine. Will probably always keep ordering this.
