I started my 2 year old with WellieWishers because the price point was better than American Girl Dolls and I knew she would drag them around/not fully appreciate the stories and accessories. My daughter loves the sparkly dresses and they are well made. I have had to put this dress through the washer and dryer twice and have had no issues doing so. the shoes are flexible plastic and easy to clean, too.

The American girl and wellie wisher clothing from Amazon do not fit as good as when you buy it through American girl.com It seems to be third party made and not true to fit. It is tighter.
