I've heard through the grapevine that Neon Frights Draculaua has received a lot of criticism in the Monster High collector doll community not because of quality but because of her design. I have most of the G3 Draculauras, and this came as a surprise. I bought a used Neon Frights Drac and liked her so much I decided to buy the doll new because I wanted all her accessories. Even though these dolls are mass produced, minute differences in their production make the doll look different. I particularly like the abundance of black hair in this model as compared to other G3 Draculauras. Yes, the hair is rooted a bit strangely, but I keep it swept to the side and the style suits her beautifully. The lavender lip color is a nice contrast to other dolls in the G3 Draculaura line. I'm happy to have a double of this doll. She's one of only a few G3 Draculaura dolls that I have bought more than one of because I find her that striking. That should tell you something because there are so many fabulous G3 Draculaura dolls. I admit she wasn't an immediate "must have" when I saw her, as I generally am not crazy about neon colors, but now that I have her in hand, I don't regret it at all. This is a great doll, and I haven't seen any issues with the quality--fingers crossed! If you passed her by, you might want to take a second look.
