Not commercially "armored" but really good for the price point!
I read a lot of reviews on fiber optic cables before I decided on this item and I am glad I chose this one. TO BEGIN: If you've never bought fiber before, CHECK YOUR CABLE as soon as you receive it. I highly suggest that if you do not already have one, purchase a 'leak tester' light. They are under $10 and the easiest way to verify that your cable is undamaged when you pull it from the box. Now... on to the review. I am quite happy with this purchase. I won't be able to get to where the cable is going to be installed for a couple months but I set it up on the desk here with the converters and transceivers i bought with it and it works great! I connected it together on the bench in the configuration i will be using it in and it was a no-fuss assembly. I will give this warning though - The listing says it is "armored" and it may have a layer of protection in the fiber core but it is NOT armored in the sense of pro grade cable. Those have metal jackets that protect it from impact and serious abrasion during install. The cable quality seems to be good but I would not ground flop it or do direct bury without bedding it in something like clean sand or it might not survive. My installation will have about 400 feet of flopped layout (laying on the ground, exposed) but it is going to be in areas where there is no risk of it ever being stepped on or impacted and I will shovel cover it with a couple inches of sand to keep the sun off of it. This is going to allow me to connect two structures that are 980 feet apart with dependable 10G internet. I currently have a long range wifi bridge setup doing the same chore but it is much slower and that signal is jammable which makes cameras pretty much useless in high security areas. Fiber can't be jammed so my wired cameras can't be interfered with and the fiber also gives me electrical isolation so a lightening strike on one of the structures can't be passed between the buildings.Fiber has become so much more affordable now. I highly suggest using it where you can.

Works perfectly for me with appropriate 10Gpbs SFP+ adapters on Unifi gear
Works perfectly for me with appropriate 10Gpbs SFP+ adapters on Unifi gear USW Pro Max 16 PoE connecting to USW Aggregation Zero issues. I do recommend to: - keep the optical ends with their protective covers until ready to connect to the SFP+ adapters. - wrap the optical ends when fishing them through walls etc - protect the fiber, it's not super strong - ensure you do not bend it past its supported bend radius. For instance for the leftover you will likely coil in some cabling cabinet

Super Strong and Speedy SFP Spaghetti
This cable is awesome. it has this super smooth feel to it that I'm guessing is the coating to make it easier to pull through conduit and whatnot, but I just liked the feel of it while hanging it up. Didn't leave any residue or anything anywhere either. Takes up less room than the old two connector style... Its like a fatter single strand. As for the durability, while it still seems delicate (likely just old habits from regular fiber) I actually inadvertantly tested it yesterday. I have this cable running from my room (modem) along the tops of doorframes to my desk in the living room. I "temporarily" routed it through the corner of my door , planning on doing an attic run eventually, and just always keeping my door open. WELL, someone decided my door definitely needed to be shut... and shut it on the cable. and well, I suppose I should eventually route it properly but after today I'm in no rush :) I dub this cable "onix" and give it a 9.5/10!

Great and solid cable
Great and solid cable. Feels much better comparing to old fashion blue ones. Have not lost a single cable while running these between insulated walls and sealings.

Durable cables
These cables are very thin but durable. I used the armored cables to run 10g fiber through my house and everything has been working great.

Good quality cable
Installed 2 of these cables from house, through underground conduit (1-1/2) to building where my server rack is. Quality of cable is good, and get 10G speeds on switch uplink.

High-Speed Connectivity Made Easy with UTIANHOME OM3 Fiber Optic Cable
I recently upgraded my home network with the UTIANHOME OM3 Fiber Optic Cable, and it's been an excellent decision. The cable's quality is top-notch, maintaining fast 10Gbps speeds, which is ideal for connecting my workstations, servers, and other devices to my main fiber switch. I particularly appreciate the ease of installation; the LSZH jacket allows for quick setup, and the uniboot connectors are great for managing multiple cables in tight spaces. The cable's durability is impressive, thanks to its armor, which protects it from potential damage. As someone who prefers running fiber optic cables over traditional copper wire Ethernet, I find this process easier and the results more reliable. Fiber optic cables are immune to electromagnetic interference and can transmit data over longer distances without signal degradation. I'm very happy with the UTIANHOME OM3 Fiber Optic Cable. It's a high-quality, reliable option for both home and commercial use.

No Issues For Short 25' 10G Link
I pulled two 25' through about 21' of 1" conduit with no issues. I had my own pulling eye kit, the conduit was empty and not sharp turns so it was easy. The cable is stiffer than standard fiber patch cable and seems to be durable but I installed it with care knowing that it's not indestructible. I tested the cable before and after installation and had no issues connecting two switches at 10G.
