Yum! I make miso, green onion, shrimp, seaweed soup and this is the first time I've used red miso. Tasty! My prior miso paste was not "red," is all I know, and don't recall if it had a partucukar qualifying name. This red paste might be stronger and of a deeper taste than the not "red." Now, I've been using ratio of 1 cup water to 1 TBLS miso ; no ratio with product is suggested. That's kind of a lot of miso paste maybe-- but that seems to be about what it takes for me. So decent enough price (everything is crazy high) and comparable to pastes' prices in grocery store-- and, worth noting, miso paste tough to find in grocery stores, at least in south Louisiana. So here's to red miso paste! I recommend.

With all these flavors, I just couldn’t decide which one to get, so I’m glad they had the variety pack. Very easy to use, can add extra ingredients of your own to these soups. They are individual serving size packets that taste great.

Good taste. Bag was difficult to scoop out portions.

Very easy to make. Just a cup of hot water and in less than a minute you will get a hot Miso soup for your breakfast. Easy, healthy and delicious.

I like dried freeze better than paste

I wish I would have seen this review.....The white miso does not look anything like the picture. Instead it is a dark brown color and looks spoiled. I wanted white miso for the mild flavor my recipe calls for. You cannot return it, but I’m afraid to use it and risk making someone sick! Quality is not acceptable, It is true. Look at the pictures in the reviews. The item is not as pictured. It is expired! And you can not return it.

Product is good but it doesn't come in a jar as listed.
