Great value product. The light is bright enough for ambient lighting but not bright enough to replace a ceiling light. The light is nice and evenly distributed along the whole length of rope, not the obvious spots of light and dark you get with LED strips. This rope light was easy to install using 3M foam tape (not supplied) and very flexible to allow fitting around corners etc. They supply small plastic clips with screws which would be ok on plasterboard walls, unfortunately my walls are all solid, hence the 3M. The neons give a great range of vibrant colors, dimmable and easily operated with the supplied remote control. The little control module has a built in mic and can be set to react to sound. If you need to shorten the length you literally just cut it with scissors (make sure it's not plugged in before you cut it). The only gripe I would make is the power lead isn't very long at around a metre. I've no hesitation in recommending this product and if I need more, these are what I'd buy again.

Love the design, much better of need to curve them no breakage, cokes with fixings, easy to fit, lovely selection of colours and able to make brighter or duller, can also mix, work perfectly as outdoor lighting, I used mine to light me decking, obviously could be used indoors if wished too, definitely recommend buying these.

Honestly, these are amazing! We've done both our kids rooms with them now and are very impressed. We did a fair amount of research before deciding on these as we didn't want to end up with the spotty look you get with a lot of neon strip lights - it seems that to avoid this you also need to buy a diffuser to go over them, which was extra cost and extra faff. This neon rope light is perfect - the effect is a smooth strip of neon lighting, no 'dottiness'. It's so flexible to work with to, I could see this working easily for shapes or letters etc. We lined the underside of the coving with it, there are plenty of clips, and as long as you measure up before ordering, you shouldn't have any issues. It comes with a little remote so you can change the colours, make it flash etc. They have turned out exactly as we hoped they would and the kids are thrilled. If we decide to do any other rooms, this will be the product we buy.

Seemed like a great value product. A bit annoying the app doesn't sync with Google Home (but that wasn't stated in the ad, so fine) What isn't fine is that they went bang after 6 months. Mine were outside (everything that needed to be waterproof and shielded was so), so I'm not sure how 'bang' they went but I'd be cautious on putting these somewhere where that could be dangerous.

Here to share my thoughts. Really like the lights, I was hesitant to order it first because I wasnt sure if its flexible enough to make a "neon light" style writing on wall. It is flexible enough and the clips that came with the lights are of good quality and hold it really well. It does look great in my opinion, nice color range and also the options to change between colors are really nice. Haven't used the app yet, the remote control is more than enough for my daughter. The only fault I find and the reason I gave 4 starts is that making the light a certain size can be a bit of a pain. The only place u can cut the light is at the end of it where there is no power cable. So for example in my case when I did my sign, I should have built the letters backwards and than cut the end of the strip. Instead what I did is, I started normally, done the letters, than cut the light to size at the end where the power cable is, and than I reattached the power cable with a soldering iron. I probably overcomplicated it BUT if the seller would include an RGB connector for led lights (which probably cost like 60-70p) in the box it would make the set perfect.

Great quality item that is still going strong after over a year of use. Highly recommended!

Bought this for my 5yr old sons bedroom. We're both very happy with how it looks and gives the room a great ambience feel. The clips that are supplied hold the lights securely in place on the perimeter of the ceiling. The remote control has a good range and plenty of colour options especially when app is downloaded too. Adapter wire is too short so had to buy an extension. It wasnt clear on instructions how to cut excess rope safely so had to research this. Fantastic product, will have to buy another one now for other childs bedroom.

Its not very bright so if you want to actually illuminate a room then its not going to work. I have 7w light bulbs that have more light than this led strip. Also white is or blue or strong yellow.

Op de Amazon-site staat dat dit lichtsnoer waterdicht is en voor buitengebruik geschikt. Dit is zeker NIET het geval. Op de doos staat duidelijk 'Indoor'. De controller is een klein element dat direct aan het lichtsnoer moet bevestigd worden en is zeker niet waterdicht. Heb het meteen teruggestuurd naar Amazon. Diverse afbeeldingen tonen een multicolor lichtsnoer met diverse kleurovergangen. Dit klopt ook niet. Het kan maar 1 kleur per keer genereren. Jammer, het product was veelbelovend maar voldoet niet aan de verwachtingen. Niet waterdicht en geen gelijktijdige kleurschakeringen.
