Review: Nice Solution to My Plugging-Up Shower Wand - I bought this to place in-line with a Grohe shower wand which was repeatedly being clogged with tiny scale from my pipes or water heater. Worked GREAT! Threads match at the wall connection. I may have added an o-ring, don't recall. Note configured this way the filter is being operated in reverse of normal use mode, so collecting scale outside the screen. Doesn't matter, still works fine. It is not continuously pressurized in this application, just when the shower is turned on.
