I have 2 1/2 helmets. This is the second unit I got and they (both) work really well. Mike stays where you position it, VERY little wind noise, and both my Edge and Edge Pro work.

If you use your Edge in more active sports, and don't have an enclosed helmet (e.g., skiing), then this is a MUST-HAVE! The included mouthpiece and stem kit that comes with the Edge unit itself is sufficient. But, the adhesion method is very unreliable (adhesive and velcro). Eventually, the adhesive "triangle" that keeps the velcro pad that suspends the mic stem from the helmet will no doubt fail. This half-helmet kit that mounts both the Edge unit and the stem as a singular item, to the helmet. No additional wiring/mounting for that pesky mic stem that always fails (other than the 3.5mm plug for the earpads), and certainly no worrying about adhesives failing.

I bought two sets of these for my wife and I to use when we are riding. I have also used them when I am riding with a large group of riders, and these have made it great. The changes they have made to allow these and the Sena models to link up is something that has been needed since these were released. I like that they are easy to pair, easy to use and sound great too. My wife likes the fact that she can listen to her own music, talk to the other women in our group and make phone calls from the bike and not have a hard time hearing the other person.

Mic does not stay in place at highway speeds. Also picks up wind noise when I talk. Update: contacted Cardo. Very quick response. Exchanged a few emails and they agreed to replace the half helmet kit. Excellent customer service.

I bought the cardle set for the motorcycle helmets, and I wanted an extra set for my racing helmet, so I added this to the racing helmet. Since I bought this unit I've raced/used it 3 times, it has worked out very well for communication between driver and navigate. The only difference is I used ear plugs speaker because the cardo speakers did not fit in the race helmet.

This half helmet kit works great for me and my Bell pitboss half shell helmet. Buyers need to understand these things before leaving a bad review: 1. It doesn't come with speakers. 2. It won't clip to all helmets, but you can use the included double back tape. 3. The boom mic is built in and NOT removable. 4. CARDO Packtalk edge will not Bluetooth to speakers. You have to use wired headphones or earbuds. 5. This is just the cradle for your Cardo Packtalk edge. 6. This is not compatible with other Cardo models.

This set has an extra long microphone useful When wearing a “half helmet”. I have CARDO mounts on all my helmets.

Très pratique et de bonne facture, mais attention le micro est beaucoup plus long que le modèle indépendant qui se colle, la longueur le rend très souple… En revanche il fonctionne à merveille !
