Other sizes? This passport holder looks a little small.

Photo may be confusing but the passport area is definitely large enough for two passports and then 2 can slide in another area but I never have a need to carry that many passports. Directly behind the passport I print out and crop my airline info, along with my itinerary, and fold to fit that long section. My major credit cards and driver license are in there, as well as my cell. I find this clutch wallet to be a perfect travel companion for those who travel frequently and like quick and easy convenience to items most needed. BTW, last night I gave one to my niece at her Sweet 16 dinner party and was all "in" to it; she liked it as well as I did (and I'm 69), so it appeals to various generations.

Does the outer pocket close? i'd like to store my pixel xl without worrying about it falling out.

The outer pocket will not zip closed. It is more for tickets that you will need quickly. Just a pocket.

My passport is 52 pages (as opposed to the traditional 28). Will my passport fit in the designated spot?

Mine is the traditional 28 page and it fit snug so I don't think the 52 page will fit in the designated slot. However, there is a pocket on the inside where it should fit just fine.
