BANDAI HGUC 1/144 RGM-79S GM Spartan (Japan Import)

Pursuit of high-detail modeling in modern format. The “Jim Spartan”, a G-series aircraft in the Jim lineage, is reproduced with a refined and sharp modeling. The moss green fuselage color, which increases the rate of concealment in subtropical regions, is reproduced in molded color, and a sense of realism is produced with a fuselage shape that is detailed down to the last detail of the entire body. Review: My personal favorite - I have bought several P Bandai GM Spartans, and I can’t recommend them enough. They’re durable, fun to build, look incredible, and are extremely customizable. They look great as a team, individually, painted, plain, weathered, and everywhere in between. The weapons are really cool too, the rifle is very unique. The only problem areas are the bracket for the arm mounted beam sabers, which tends to fall off, and the shoulder mounted shield which can also do the same. Both can be tightened very easily with dry CA glue. The other problem area is the cost. The genuine GM Spartan is not printed often despite its popularity which can lead to high resale cost. There are plenty of passable (and even good) bootleg Spartan kits that are much easier to obtain, both in availability and cost. A quick google will point you in the right direction. That being said; the real Premium Bandai GM Spartan is a treat to build and pose. If you have the means to shell out for the real deal, I recommend it.
