I purchased enough for the kids to enjoy Christmas Eve and they went outside in the snow and used them. They rarely return to the person who threw it. The kids still thought it was cook as they have great colors and they were able to throw it to each other. They do tend to fly away so be sure you have ample space to play with these outdoor or if indoors we were able to use them with no damage to interiors.

I purchased one of these for my 10-year-old niece, expecting her to enjoy it, and she absolutely did. I ordered 8 of them and it’s a good thing I did. The 7 grand kids were outside having a blast playing with them, the 11 year old threw hers up and it never came back. My son tracked it with the zoom on his phone and he lost it, it looked to be over a half a mile away (using landmarks) when he could not see it anymore!

Ball does not return ever. It flies in one direction, if you can even get it to turn on. Once it hits something, it turns off. Can't get it to do anything but fly in the same direction and then turn off over and over again. The "accessory" hat doesn't even stay on. It was designed with only one functional hook so as soon as the internal fan kicks on, that hat comes right off. This is Dollar Tree level merchandise at Sharper Image prices.After some mild "percussive troubleshooting", the motor no longer sounds like it's screaming, and the ball actually floats now instead of rocketing out of my hand as soon as I let go of it.

I love using these flying orbs, i had bought them before Christmas. I charged them up before dinner and decided to try them out at the dinner table with my parents who are in their late 70’s we had so much fun playing with them. Reminded me of when i was a little kid and my dad and i would play with a ball on a set of stairs. Only these were more fun because you barely exert any force on the balls to make them fly. It was a learning experience in order to make them fly by tilting the orb in different ways to make it fly away from you or back to yourself!! We enjoyed them so much my mother ended up buying her own to play with. Thank you for a wonderful fun experience with your toys!!

The flying ORB turned out to be the best present for my 4 & 8 year old grandkids this year. They play with the flying orb for hours inside and outside of the house pretending to land on planets and the moon. It's so cool to watch when the orbs return to earth. It was very easy for them to learn how to use the orb and send it flying around the house and yard. The orb is very colorful and I will be buying more of them for my great nieces and nephews.
