CamelBak MultiBev Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle & Travel Cup

Absolutely LOVE this water bottle. As a serial water bottle AND “reusable” coffee mug girlie, I’ve had my fair share of thinking, “I wish this had both.” I feel like my life is constantly on the go. I LOVE the fact that I don’t have to worry about forgetting a coffee cup or water bottle because I’ll always have both!! From the color selection, to the quality, I couldn’t be more pleased. The design seems to be really well thought through. The bottom removable cup screws on nice and snug to the bottle, and the water bottle itself has a really secure carry handle. Not to mention, BOTH capsules are INCREDIBLE at insulating both cold and hot beverages. The only nitpicking thoughts I have are: - It takes some getting used to where to hold the bottle to take a swig of water without unscrewing the cup. - It takes some practice rolling and fitting the cup lid (but not a lot!). - When the bottle does not have the cup, there is no rubber bottom to prevent it from easily being knocked over or sliding. Therefore, it’s a liiiiiiiittle less stable. Do with this what you will, but know that after having it for sometime it is still my FAVORITE water bottle. EVER.

Really nice thermos and the detachable cup on the bottom is great too. One of the main reasons I got this. It will keep hot coffee warm for quite a while. I got it at a great price due to color and it’s a cool color too. With my prime membership I got it for less than $10

Size: I'm reviewing to give my insights about the measurements and sizes of the 17oz vs. the 22oz version of this product because I could not find anything definitive when I was considering the two. I can confirm that the dimensions listed in the product details are correct. The exterior size difference is actually only .63" taller which I had questioned. Both versions are the same width of 3.15". See photo with soda can for scale. Having said that, I'm not really sure why Camelbak decided to produce the two sizes since they are almost identical. I have decided to send the smaller 17oz version back and keep the 22oz since I gain almost 30% additional capacity with only minimal difference in exterior footprint. I am giving it 5 stars because it does seem to be an awesome product. My constructive criticism, is that it would be nice if Camelbak offered an optional screw-on hot beverage lid for the lower cup. (Note, it is already internally threaded) While the foldable silicone lid is a nice idea, and handy for a lot of situations, I could see it easily slipping off. The other suggestion would be a silicone bottom boot because all of these metal bottle get to be quite clanky.

I haven't posted any Amazon product reviews in a while but this MultiBev item is of interest. I don't like plastic bottles from Camelbak or in general. I literally threw one in the garbage the other day but salvaged the carry top. I don't like the idea of drinking out of plastic especially in hot weather conditions. But the metal on this is good. This 22-oz version in color Dune seems to have a few drawbacks. 1. You will want to wipe/wash off the bottom of the main bottle when using it in real life. The photo is of me stopping at a coffee house. I poured my drink (iced coffee) into the cup. Tastes better to me than out of the place's plastic cups. You can see the problem. If you set the main bottle down somewhere the bottom will touch wherever you set it down. This could be a picnic table, park bench, a dirt trail, etc. Think about re-screwing the drinking cup back on and drinking from it the next time. If you're not paying attention you might be drinking leaves, something unsanitary, etc. 2. The silicon top might apeal to some but chances are I would rather drink directly from the metal cup, which is shaped well at least for my own mouth. 3. The abuse this bottle has already suffered resulted in some minimal damage to the enamel coating. A few days later I'm looking at this and thinking this is going to survive being dropped and dinged up really well. That said, this has kept ice water cold in hot weather and overnight. The various interchangeable covers Camelbak offers are a positive. There are three parts that unscrew but if you pay attention and tighten everything then the bottle seems to be leakproof. I will see how this holds up over time but as of right now I like the idea of this bottle.

This is a really well made insulated mug with a built in cup. Great idea for soups or coffee. Thoughtful touches like a storage area built into the lid and a non-slip base. Size seems to avoid being overly bulky so it can fit in cup holders.

Use it everyday for my morning tea in the detachable hot cup and then keep the full bottle full of my cold water. It’s great! Keeps the hot drink hot for hours and my cold drink cold all day! Really happy with my purchase
