I am extremely pleased with these. The 1x “Zoom” is what I was looking for, as it can be used for low light/no light shooting. Also, if you look online at the video reviews and such, Nightfox (the company that makes these) sent out units to many people to review with no strings attached. They also interact with people on their socials. They stand behind their products and their products are fantastic for the $ and work! I got the Swift 2 pro and for the money, it’s the best bang for the buck for a reliable and entry level/useful digital night vision setup. With practice and getting used to how to navigate while wearing the unit in the dark, you can adapt pretty quickly and the fact you’re able to turn off the IR and just use moonlight/ambient lighting if you want, they (Nightfox) really thought the swift 2 out very well. For the $, it’s a no brainer if you want to get into serviceable night vision. Well done, Nightfox! Also, Nightfox is a UK based company with many products available and a solid warranty, so it’s not some no name brand with no support. Looking forward to their future offerings!

Guys, you can buy it without fear!! It really works!! I'm impressed by how dark it can be and you can see everything clearly, and at levels 1 and 2, those looking from outside can't see if you're hidden, but if you increase it to levels 3 and 4, there's a strong red light on the outside that people can see.. But level 1 and 2 is enough to see everything in total darkness! I did a lot of research I was very skeptical, watched several videos on YouTube... But this 2 pro is incredible, cheap and very easy to use. It only comes with one battery 3200mah. I bought a set with 4 extras batteries model 18650...5000mah rechargeable... It is said that with the 3k battery it lasts 4 to 5 hours... with 4 units of 5kmah batteries it should last at least 25 hours of continuous use.

Ir works well. Can see in dark has various backlight ir levels . Can work through windows car windshield. Fits well to head . However when i use it as head held having it fit to my eyes it becomes super difficult to focus and use it for prolonged time. It is like you are trying to focus your eye to see something on your nose. I couldn't use it for more than a minute and had to remove it and use it like a binocular that i put front of my eye 2-4 inch away. I couldnt focus my eye with head setup.I have tried to use "focus" option but it made no help. Seems it just changes the clarity of the screen inside of it rather than giving you a optical path to help your eye to focus like in classic binoculars. I have 0 to 0 prescribed eyes. Which means at last optometric test i had ,my eyes were fully correct. And yet it was difficult for me to focus on it for long time. I am thinking to return it. Build is rugged and looks good ,does not feel like its going to break at first drop but i wanted to be able to use it more than hour without burning out my eye focus. Seems designed more like a night binocular than goggles

It's not worth the amount for the goggles alot of thing that causes it's to mess up the pictures and were the the focus is at is in the wrong place and being veterans and using alot of different types of goggles these goggles have to many problems and everything is backwards for everything like memory card and plug in right behind the rubber seal and the extra items for the headgear you don't get everything to help hold it up

Sneaking out of the house to go kiss guys has never been easier! Rechargeable, modular, portable; the Nightfox Swift 2 Pro assures me that every step between my backdoor and my car door is as clear as day while the old folks sleep soundly! Mwah mwah mwah ;>

I purchased these based on the number of good reviews it received, and I have to wonder if I received a defective unit, because the Swift 2 Pro I received is terrible. The image is extremely grainy/fuzzy no matter how much the focus is adjusted. Day or night view is so pixelated it's ridiculous. And at the lowest IR setting, objects within 20 yards are white washed out. I have another brand in the sub $300 price range that have a perfectly clear image. So I'm baffled at all the good reviews. The one I received is unusable.

WHO THESE ARE FOR : GENERAL PUBLIC. Despite the marketing images with helmets and all, if you are looking for a general pupose set of wearable (and they are usable as goggles) Night Vision Device(s) (NVD), than these will work for you. These are perfect for the 'cryptid' researcher types who need something in the woods that work, and that will not break the bank. I've used PVS-14's in the military and currently live in the mountains, the NightFox Pros are not military grade, but they are perfect for a person with a reasonable income, that simply wants to have access to functional night vision just in case. I've tested them in the forest here, and they do fine. The ability to set the IR's level is good for folks that simply want to either save power, or avoid folks who are also using NVDs. Like the other reviewer's stated, these do have some firm ware issues, hopefully NighFox can resolve those as well.
