I love these shorts. They are true to size and very comfortable. Very versatile, I worn them on cruise excursions and then a pair to dinner with a nice shirt. Plenty of storage space with good size zipper pockets in the front and back. A greatbbuy and there are a bunch of color options.

I love these shorts. Very lightweight. Zip pockets in front are perfect for phone and the elastic waistband means they will fit when your weight fluctuates.

My son needed "khaki-type" shorts for regulation use on his youth bowling team. I spied these on AMAZON, read the reviews, and decided to give these a try.These are indeed, lightweight. They have a fine graph-like texture to the fabric, but it is hardly noticeable. The color purchased was LIGHT KHAKI, however they are NOT as light in color as I thought they might be. The pockets are plentiful, including fairly deep ones on each side and a tiny coin pocket on the upper right. The zippered pockets (3) are useful and seem to feature quality zippers with a sturdy elastic/rubber pull. In my opinion, these shorts fit true-to-size or maybe just a bit on the smaller end. The legs fall just above my son's knee, and provide just enough stretch to allow him comfort during bowling. They also feature a nice elastic band at each side of the waist which again, accommodates some athleticism. They wash up nicely, and when hung immediately from the dryer, have little to no wrinkles. The only caveat I can see is perhaps a tendency to be a bit unforgiving (taught) in the crotch, which may in part be due to the flat front style, however this minor issue may be dependent on the overall "size" of your guy. (When sporting these shorts, my son will forego his usual boxer brief in lieu of a more form fitting brief to allow more support/discretion.)While definitely NOT a cheap version of lightweight shorts, my son and I are relatively pleased with this purchase.

FIT: I bought a size 38. I am 5'11' and 241lbs as of this morning. They fit good and are very light. I wear a large 36 or more accurately 36-38 and sometimes 40 depending on who makes them. These were a good snug fit. However, if I gained more than 5lbs, they might not fit. On the other hand, I could lose 20lbs and they would probably still fit well.THE COLOR is hard to gauge. I was expecting an "olive drab", but I actually like what I received (or is that perceive?) better. I am in my 60's so my discernment of color has diminished a little. I almost thought they were a dark, muted chocolate brown until I held them up in the light. To give you a more accurate sense of the color I took pictures in 4 different types of light:Picture #1: On my bed in my room and #2 on bathroom counter - both with 3000k-LED & window light the latter right under the window.IMO, the color is a cross between olive drab and camouflage brown.Anyway, good shorts for the money.#3 on paver bricks in shade; #4 on patio in direct sun.

The material is light weight which I like. Good for hot climates. What I don't like is the front pockets are shallow. The supposed phone pocket is also shallow.

Bought for my husband and we both love how they fit and look. Most men’s shorts are so baggy around the legs and these are not too tight or baggy. Husband says super comfortable
