Gave 4 stars because they are too tight. When the 7 inch seat swivel was installed the latch would not release. I had to take a hand grinder and grind a groove in the swivel 180 degrees away from the latch position. After doing that they release easily and work great..

So I bought these as replacements for my Sea Eagle quick disconnect. They fit perfectly. Everything lined up no altercations were necessary. Cost I believe $69 through them each and 20 bucks here on Amazon. Very satisfied. Later I found out you can buy a two pack here Cheaper than $40 . You’ll have to search it out. Will buy again.

Bracket seems to work as intended. HOWEVER, be advised that the swivel base you need to purchase (not included) will not lock into this bracket if it is a full 7”X7” as advertised. Though a full 7” bracket will slide in ok, it will not latch unless it is 6 7/8” MAX. I ended up modifying the bracket to make mine work, but could have been avoided if manufacturer had allowed a little tolerance.

Extremely tight but it will accept an Atwood 7 inch swivel. Rotate plate on swivel to each side until you can pop it all the way in.

I bought two of these a few months ago, with a view to installing them on my boat once I finished an upgrade. I also bought a pair of Attwood 7" seat swivels that were recommended for use with this quick release base, neither of which fit the base properly. The swivel will not slide all the way into the base to allow it safely lock in, which in itself is a hazard, making both items not fit for purpose. The problem is that the date for return has passed, so I'm stuck with these now and they are completely useless.
