The light from these is amazing for such a low wattage, and give off a totally even emission with no shading/dark areas across the panel

Excellent light unit, very bright! and looks stylish!! Install was pretty straight forward, apart from the awkward frame/fixing system (you really need to run a tap through the threads in the hanging frame first, due to the holes being full of paint!) And also the supplied screws need swapping for decent ones (I used stainless M5 buttons) but it's still a bit of a faff to fix, due to the brackets being a bit short, and your knuckles are rubbing the ceiling!! BUT, as I've already said, it's still a very impressive lamp! So if you don't mind a little fettling, get one, I'd definitely recommend it!!

My kitchen is not overly big and is square so this 30 Watt LED provides much brighter, more stable and easier on the eyes light than 36 Watts of premium daylight Fluorescent Tubes I have used in the past. As the emitted light is around an inch or so below the ceiling there’s no shadow areas and as it’s in the middle the whole kitchen, including under cabinets are well lit. After just over a year all is still working fine, just as bright and with no flys etc that got behind the old boxed in tube lights. It uses many, many tiny LEDs that are just behind a white translucent screen, a bit like the thin LED light of a back lit LCD TV screen. Hence the light is uniform across the whole area within the frame and is why it’s just like looking at a skylight in bright daylight. As for cleaning, it just needs a wipe with a damp cloth on the outside, no more taking things apart. The quality of the screen seems very high so, hopefully, it won’t age and will stay white. If I can I’ll update over the coming years!

Biggest drawback is that there is no hole to feed the lead to a wall socket. I drilled one where I wanted it. The review saying that the tray needs to be deeper to allow for the transformer depth must be outdated , my unit was fine. Excellent quality. Very bright. Easy to fit and good value for money.

This lamp was so easy to fix but the screws that hold the unit to the frame are a bit tricky to fit. I got the wife to hold the unit up to the frame with a broom covered with a towel. Worked great. The light is very even and bright with no delay in startup when switched on.

Great value and service. Arrived really quickly. Simple to install. Good gap between ceiling and light fitting for ceiling rose. Nice bright daylight, looks like a skylight. Excellent.

Good LED lamp, but poor surface mount design. The lamp mounting frame does not come with any mounting screws. You will need to prepare 4 screws for mounting the rack to the ceiling. Furthermore, the lamp box is attached to the mounting frame using four ridiculously small self-tapping screws that are about 5mm long.
