Great game to play at home, while camping on a picnic table, or at school
My hubby and I learned about this game from a fellow camper at the campground. This is a fun game that can be played competitively, cooperatively, with each player against each other, with a partner, with scoring, or not. It's like a puzzle combined with dominoes and Sudoku-like problem-solving. I like that elementary students up to adults can play. It takes longer to play for beginners, but folks who've played awhile can get through a game in 20 minutes. I think a timer could be set, and whoever gets the most points in that amount of time could be determined the winner. Or, as a counselor, I could play with a young client and we could work cooperatively to get the most points possible in 15 minutes and keep trying to beat the score each session. This game teaches focus, strategy, thinking ahead (impulse control), and can be used, like any game, to reinforce good sportsmanship--complimenting players on their choices, congratulating the competition on making high-scoring plays. The game also reinforces math (if you keep score), and could be played with earned tokens instead of points. The tiles come in a box, but there's a bag to use while the game is happening. I think it's too much of a pain to put the tiles back in the box--so it would be best just to store the game in the bag. It might be a good idea to laminate the directions so they don't get torn up if stored in the bag. This game would be a great gift for a family.

Color-blind version better than original cuz couldn't tell diff between orange & red
Love everything about this game!!! Except... I got the original regular version and you can't tell the difference between the reds and the oranges sufficiently. I ended up painting an orange dot on the orange tiles. SOOO when buying as a gift, I got this color-blind version instead & it was a good move - all colors are easy to differentiate.

Great but no holder for pieces
Love the additional marks for color blind, but very disappointed that it did not come with the frames to hold the game pieces. Next time I’d buy the regular version and make my own markings.
