Metal chunks, inconsistent shine, strong smell, and a leaking bottle.
All greaaaaaat things I wish I knew before I bought this resin. The first time I used it, the instructions mentioned how it only has a shine if printed a certain way. If you don’t pay attention to that (as I learned painfully) the print looks like a burnt piece of wood with a glow-in-the-dark effect on one side. The smell is stuffy and hangs in the air for quite a while. The angle thing Seemed simple enough and I thought it was an interesting effect if used properly. 3 prints in, I started having major problems. I had them again about a month later (and worse as you’ll hear in a moment). I printed these at an angle but you can still see how it warped the completely flat medallion and still had significant metallic *shards* in it. I’d understand if it wasn’t shaken up enough or had little bits here and there, but I use an automatic mixer that has never given me trouble with any other resin I’ve used. These also aren’t just tiny bits and flakes no these are SHARDS of metal. I had some pierce through my gloves and tearing into the silicon mat I put my prints on before washing. The resin is extremely brittle and picky on both the Elegoo Mars 5 and the Mars 5 ultra. This absolutely destroyed my FEP screens and wasted my time. The bottle top leaks and I feel like I was constantly cleaning it. I was so excited to play with this resin but instead I’m concerned I’ll get tetanus or something. On the bright side, the weird bottle shape made it easy to hold and pour out consistently. It sucked when I tried to pour the leftover resin in before tossing it all but was very smooth oddly enough. It left silver metal bits in everything it touched.

Not like metallic gold but definitely shiny
As other reviews have already suggested, it perhaps not what one is expecting based on the resin presentation that perfect metallic mask. However, the resin is definitely useful, not a total garbage and it works as a standard gold-ish resin. Nice level of detail as you can see in the photo and definitely shiny under the right light angle. Don’t expect much, and buy it if you want your prints to have that gold-ish look. I am satisfied. After calibrating I found almost perfect results in 3.75seconds exposure for normal and a 40seconds for base. An interesting thing I notice is that this resin doesn’t expand nor shrink really with overexposure or under exposure. I haven’t tested anything else above 4sec but I found it interesting to notice

Very Messy. Good for figurines and such, NOT for parts
The good, when the light hits it just right it looks cool, good flexibility. The bad, prints come out with poor dimensional precision, skewed and warped, when the light doesn’t hit it just right it is a funky translucent brown, and it is extremely messy. Thoroughly clean your entire printer after every print and change your washing IPA after you’re done, the metallic pigments will clump together in your vat potentially causing crashe that can cause failed prints or even damage your printer if you try to print back to back prints, and they ruin your IPA. Lots of cleanup involved. Overall it works, but do not use it for parts that connect together, they will already be skewed and warped before the print is even finished, this is for figurines and stuff. Also very brittle and messy to break off from the build plate, leaving chunks everywhere.

Printed great, color not quite what was expected
Printed great, just wanted to share a video of actual results. The color was not what was expected, but it looks ok. Hopefully seeing the different angles helps you make a decision if this resin works for you.

Awful
Absolutely terrible resin. The metallic gold is absolutely terrible. It separates extremely quickly, prints very poorly if at all, and of course is somewhat expensive. Never buying this brand again.

Failed prints
#Update# Even after installing a vat heater and increasing the exposure to 6 seconds, I'm still getting warped and failed prints. The failures appear to be the edge supports popping loose ftom the model. This resin needs heavier supports than standard gray resin. This resin left the top of my build plate caked in metallic bits. I've been trying to print for a week with the brass metallic resin. So far, I've had 1 successful print of a small ring. I've calibrated exposure settings to about 4.2 seconds a layer. My garage temp is on the low side, so I'm installing a vat heater and will retest and update my review. Resin doesn't seem to mix well, giving the model weird color variation. I will try using a mixer once my bed heater is installed.

skip this product
the instructions that it came with were very helpful. If you follow them exactly you may get an ok print. I was trying to print off a card like object about 3x2 inches and about 1/8 inch thick. Orientation matters to get decent coloring. however the orientation I needed caused way too much post processing problems. The side you want to look metallic needs to be parallel with the screen so for a card the is pretty much flat. this stuff is hard to get to adhere to the built plate I was able to get a few prints with rafts but the supports made the card unusable. it wouldn't stick directly to the build plate. and rotating it so it was perpendicular to the built plate made the color look awful. I have no idea how they printed the model for the product page but I doubt it was printed with this resin. It is way too finicky for my liking. will not be buying again.

very brittle, semi transparent, supported prints fail regularly
very brittle, semi transparent, supported prints fail regularly. looks decent once it prints. more "shimmery" than actual metallic.

The resin is theoretically given a metallic look by some glorified glitter in some orange transparent resin. I say theoretically because it doesnt work at all. The glitter doesnt make it look metallic and instead just makes your supports fail exactly 50% of the time in my experience. To top it off since youll be draining fails out of your vat alot it clogs those paper funnels like crazy so if you have a large printer youll need 2 to empty your machine.

propaganda enganosa, nao fica brilhante.

Besides not being gold or metallic, it's not very good resin either.
