Everything You Need for a Great Old Fashioned
I bought this as a gift for my husband, and it has been a huge hit. He recently had some of the best Old Fashioneds on a cruise, and this mix really brings him back to that experience. This is not just bitters, it is a full Old Fashioned mix, so nothing else is needed except whiskey, bourbon, or rye. It is incredibly easy to use since it only takes two ingredients to make a great drink. The flavor is rich, smooth, and well balanced, and it instantly elevates the cocktail. We did add some high quality cocktail cherries, which made it even better. He has tried several different mixes before, and this is by far the best one he has used so far. Using it with nice glasses and a round ice cube makes it feel like a cocktail bar at home. This turned out to be a very well thought out gift that he truly enjoys.

Delicious old fashioned mix
This is delicious. It makes an amazing old fashioned. As someone who loves old fashioned AND is actually pretty proficient at making old fashioneds - with more experience than I would like to admit - this makes it super easy and delish. I find a little splash works perfectly. My wife finally likes my old fashioneds! It is a little bit on the sweet side but you can just use a little less. Plus you can make a cocktail in 30 seconds instead of a few minutes which is great for movie nights or for having guests over, or for making a large batch for a party. The original Old Fashion flavor is great, and so is the Maple, and the Smoked (which obviously isn't as good as actual smoke but is a decent substitute). You can still customize it by adding a little extra bitters or different flavor bitters if you want. It's a small bottle but I think it says it makes 32 cocktails and I can verify mine lasted a really long time. Very tasty, not sure I'll go back to making my own unless I'm in the mood.

Noticeably smoky
The smoke flavor is just a bit strong, but still very nice. I will probably be ordering again, though somewhat pricey.

Old Fashions made easy.
This syrup is absolutely amazing. Old fashions made easy. Approximately 30 old fashions from one small bottle. Buy 2, you will not be disappointed.

Pricey, but hands down the best Old Fashioned mix!!!
It only took me 58 years, but I finally heard of an Old Fashioned drink and decided to give it a try, as I really like bourbon. Over a few weeks I bought several different Old Fashioned mixes from the grocery store, but had to really tweak them to get them to taste good. So I started looking around for a really good mixer. If I want a drink I don't like to have to get out a bunch of different ingredients, I just want to get to it. I've tried about 7 different Old Fashioned mixes and I'd have to honestly say that the Strongwater is my favorite! Expensive in my opinion, but hands down the best one. It's odd to me that this mix is more than twice the price per oz than a good quality bourbon, but I guess that's just how it goes. A $75 1.75lt (59oz) bottle of bourbon (which I think would be considered pricey by most) is approximately $1.27/oz. Strongwater Old Fashioned mix is $2.99/oz. What gives please? And I love the taste of bourbon, but adding 1/4oz of mix to 2oz of bourbon is very strong in my opinion. A half oz to 2oz tastes really good. So IMHO you have to use twice the amount per drink. I like to just put 4oz of bourbon to 1oz of this mix and it's fantastic. I'm not really a fan of the orange peal, but a good cocktail cherry out of the bottom of the glass at the end is great! Price aside it's still the best tasting mixer where you don't have to spend a lot of time to make the drink it or tweak it to get a great flavor. Ok, now I'm really thirsty for one but I'm out of Strongwater. #@$&!

These are delicious!!
I purchased this to add to coffee grounds before brewing and they are delicious. It adds sweetness and depth of flavor without added sugar with just a few drops. I haven't used them in cocktails but I'm sure they would be delicious in bourbon or whiskey as well!! So much better and more sophisticated and nuanced than the cheap bitters from the grocery store. Super easy to just add a drop or two to whatever you need it for.

Tastes delicious, depth of flavour without being overly sweet, and so convenient for an occasional old fashioned cocktail. Nicely packaged. Will buy it again.

New to the old fashioned cocktails but love them and wanted a quick and easy way to make them, the espresso is easily one of my new favorites and the original and maple pecan are good too, the maple pecan being a bit on the sweeter side. A little pricey for a mix with no alcohol content but very tasty
